Which time is best to go to pamukkale
@worldwildhearts
2 жыл бұрын
We went in November and had a great time as it was relatively quiet (still warm!). Probably better for swimming during the summer (May until October), but also more crowded! Try to stay until sunset because that’s when most people will have left
If anyone is planning to go to pamukkale with a tour agency, be aware that there is an extra 200 lira to pay for entry to the site. Some tour agencies will not tell you this for some reason, ours luckily did. Your tour guide will likely collect this money on the bus so when you get there, you can skip the queue. If you don’t pay the 200 lira to the tour guide, you’ll have to purchase it yourself at the site and wait in line. There are also extra fees to get into cleopatra pools and for lockers too which you can pay your tour guide and they will give you the key.

Hey guys, we stumbled upon your channel a few weeks ago and love the content. You do a great job telling a story and showing people where to go. We’ve been full time RVing for 2 1/2 years now and our goal is to travel over seas starting the end of 2023. It’s a long ways off but we just keep adding to our list of places to go. You’re helping us with that list with your beautiful locations! Thank you!! -Chris & Suzannah

I worked as a tour guide in Turkiye --too briefly. I am impressed with the integration of maps and drone footage into the program. I also appreciate the calm tone in your narration. Many people who were privileged to visit some of these sites in Turkiye in the 1960s or before may attest to pollution and environmental degradation due to 'developments' and urbanization nearby. I hope your efforts do not end up convincing irresponsible people (foreign and domestic) to swarm into sites like this, and leave their unwanted 'legacy' behind...
Love your video.... plan to visit Turkey. The best to you both!

Awesome! You’ll enjoy it! That’s a lot colder than we were there! Well the hottest of all pools is the little running stream on the side of the pools! They look like little jacuzzis. Other pools were lukewarm but doable once you’re in them. 😊 getting out again is the hardest part 😉

Hey guys, thanks for sharing details as always. Wondering what would be the cost for a full day tour from kusadasi to pamukkale, and for other tours ephusus and underground caves for cappdocia. Any comments?
@worldwildhearts
Жыл бұрын
It's hard to say what the prices are right now for Pamukkale! But shouldn't be more than 50 USD from there. It's a long drive from Kusadasi though! For Ephesus, that's very closeby and you could probably find something cheaper or get there even by public transportation and then save big. For Cappadocia, you'll have to fly most likely as that's really far. You can check tours via our link in the description!

Hello. Incredible video. Thank you for sharing. Can i ask how much it costs to rent a car to caves? How far it is from the center and are there buses that go there?
@worldwildhearts
2 жыл бұрын
There definitely are no buses there as it’s super hidden! Not many people know about it. A car rental is pretty cheap, you can probably rent it from Denizli or another big city for less than 30$ a day. It would be better to use the rental car to visit both pamukkale and the caves though as the caves are just a small part (takes maybe 1hour total to visit) so wouldn’t rent a car just for that

Can a senior with knee pain walk without trouble to the thermal pools? My mother has a hard time with hills, steps and inclines and I’m unsure if she would enjoy the experience.

It's possible, but you'll need to take your shoes off once you get to the travertine pools. You can access via the ancient city of Hierapolis so you don't need to walk up the hill! It's relatively flat from the entrance there, and I remember seeing some carts driving around for an extra fee as well! enjoy!

How the price of the tickets and what include? Have any taxi ride there?

I think it was 110TL for the entrance of pamukkale/hierapolis. We also paid an additional fee for the audioguide (more or less 50TL extra). There are taxis in the area but we didn’t take one. Would be easiest to park at the base entrance below if you are taking the taxi because it’s closest to town
