Pam Grier on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno (1997)
Actress Pam Grier issues a very public marriage proposal to her boyfriend during this Dec. 30, 1997 appearance on The Tonight Show. Grier also relates the story of how she and host Jay Leno first met. Grier's movie, Jackie Brown, directed by Quentin Tarantino, had been released just days earlier.

So, she accepted Kevin's proposal and he and I are about the same age? Humph. I proposed to her back in 1988, but I've yet to hear back from her and it's 2022.
My wife's aunt I just met in Detroit last week looks like Sheba baby, her nose and mouth and she's 74 but looks 54, and I gave a hug and said you like a little like Pam Grier, and she said yeah I've gotten that from a few people, so my wife's been ragging me all weekend that I was hitting on her Auntie, no but Auntie was kinda fine for being 74 and in shape still, I know she was killing them wen she was actually in her 50s and younger, had to give her 2 hugs to say goodbye 😅

Nope. And there were a few guys who could have married her. Kareem Abdul-Jabaar was one of them. She was ready to become a Muslim for him, but he wanted her to be a housewife and wait on him hand and foot and she wasn't having that.
