Another great early game pal to use is daeddream(definitely butchered the spelling) since it is an easy to find and catch dark pal and it's special equipment allows you to have it following alongside you along with another pal out. Plus you can have a full team of them and the one item will have them all out following you to increase your damage. Combine with a hoocrates which has an ability to increase all dark pal attacks and you gets insane damage for early game.

PokeArk of the Wild is pretty fun so far.

Riding a Chillet with a crossbow is easily some of the biggest damage you can do around 15. The second part of their passive adds a portion of bonus damage as dragon damage, and i've had single shot headshots while mounted (from my regular T1 crossbow) over 2k. Insane.

While riding you hold aim and then shoot while your gun is equipped.

honestly from what I've found it depends on skills and traits for pal worth if it ain't got good offensive traits even as a shiny no diff then a norm. You want them attack% on traits and shiny are top tier simple cause you can get multiple maxed out traits which can mean like 50% attack damage which is massive compared to what you can upgrade a pal to.

I grew up playing Pokemon. I heard about this game and it looks like so much fun. The creatures model reminds me of the new Pokemon Snap game, nice looking models. Plus I love the fact that there are shinies and a survival element. Nice looking graphics too! I'll have to get the game but I'm currently playing other indie games and having a blast. Too many games and not enough time.

Melpaca is the easiest early mount other than the boar and its charge attack makes traversal faster and good for gathering ore too. Chillet is a great ground mount too.

That charge attack is barely useful for moving. It stops for so long after it’s done

@@eddiesinfin3583 yeah if its similar to the boar charge attack you lose so much in the animation that its hardly worth using it to traverse since you sit still for like 1-2sec for charge and have a solid second after you stop in the animation where you don't move. It is 100% faster mining tho early on for ores especially in ore dense areas where you an get a double or even triple tap on multiple nodes.

Imo direhowl is a much better mount early game. The speed it has covers distance very quickly

Gosh the Lifmunk with an AK on your head scene feels both adorable and quite funny to see XD

I never tried Lifmunk's ability. That is so cool, lol. Really appreciate this info. I have so many pals that I know nothing about.

My first ice egg hatched a Chillet!

Dont forget digtoise up in the desert. Asoon as you can fly go up there and catch one a giant tortoise with drill spikes on his shell. He can keep aggro on bosses and will drill down all mining stones making farming 10 times faster.

Daedream and dazzi for additional damage without them actually being out, daedream being alot easier to get early and dealing dark damage, dazzi deals lightning damage and will sometimes shock them making them easier to catch

I hatched a chillet from an egg. Things a beast

I ran out of pokeballs on Chillit and accidentally killed it on my first try. Then got him from the incubator!

Pro tip: If your enemy is frozen, you can stand behind it and catch it easier as it counts as a stun.

PLAYING WITH MY SON! We just got CHILLET AND I HATCHED AN ARSOX AND A SURFENT!!!

Quick note too, passives stack. I have 3 pals with ‘vanguard’ increasing player attack damage by 10%…. 30% lol I’m hitting 1-2k with a crossbow at lvl 15 (all stat points went into attack)

If I’m on my chillet sheeesh my damage to dark types is like 4k a hit. It’s a huge issue tho…. Imagine trying to catch lower lvl pals when u 1 hit everything hahahahah

@@reccatimes2 yeah I was using a pickaxe/axe as my wep😂 it seems like the further up I get and the higher lvl monsters I’m not having as much an issue. It’s fun playing this game different than everyone else. Most of my damage comes from me and not the pals, they are essentially meat shields hahaha

On my friends lobby that I’m playing with him on, right at the beginning I got an Alpha Howellette the owl witch hat looking guys, I caught him and he has an insane ability that rains meteors in clusters of like 5-6 and does like 3-4 waves of them on each individual cast, and it absolutely obliterates groups

Dinossom is very good. It stays usable for a very long time despite being able to get it pretty quickly. I only recently removed it from my team because the seed bomb skill it had was too good at killing stuff and made it harder to catch some things. I should just switch the skill out I guess.

It seems like you can freely switch from skills they learned as well as their order. I would imagine the same works with skill fruit you've used.

Theres also this pink lucario looking pal i got from a raid and their pretty good for dps and i think mines better than the loupmoon thing and it has 2 in mining and packing i thing or was it handiwork?

Imagine using Loupmoon for combat lol. It's THE slave for workbenches. Handiwork 2 and doesn't get distracted by other tasks. Once you get an Artisan and level up his work speed at the statue, he'll craft your bullets or anything else you need faster than any pal til lthe very endgame. Think there's only 1 or 2 pals that actually get Handiwork 3, so Loupmoon is the best you can get for a long time.

The deer is probably the best starting mount because it has a very fast base speed and the rush attack.

There is some type of combining Pals if you have multiple of thr same kind, but im not sure exactly how it works yet. It's one of the ancient technology pieces around lvl 15

On xbox how exactly do you use pal abilities? I know its X but do you hold it? Do yoy just press it? Or...? Ive been trying to use celaray as a gilder and i have the gloves but it doesnt seem to be working.

Just hold it. As you hold the pal will run too you. Then it activates automatically. Just hold until it works 👍🏼

Celaray as a glider is simply have them in the party jump and deploy glider whilst having the gloves made

Figured I'd update thus, but I figured it out, problem was that I didn't have a normal gilder on, and so it wouldn't let me use the celaray's ability because of that

On the Pc you hold 4 and select an action. It’s the Pal Command Wheel

~30hrs of solo and so far so fun. I'm finding it much more fun than ark. The catching, fighting, exploring, and base building all play into each other really well. I probably turned the exp rate up too fast (ark trauma). I'd suggest leaving it only slightly turned up, so catching pals is significant vs them leveling so fast it doesn't matter. Fortunately, you can adjust those settings each time you are at the world select.

Why I can't find the nitewing saddler in my technology?

U have to catch a nitewing , if a friend's catches it and gives it to you you won't learn the tech, only when you capture one
