This is an example of Poor Team Dynamics. There is no close-loop communication, no clear messages, no clear roles and responsibilities, no constructive intervention and no mutual respect. The team leader does not model an excellent team behavior and did not organize the beforehand. These behaviors can derail the resuscitation and must be prevented. All health-care providers must learn the Effective Resuscitation Team Dynamics established by AHA...because life is why. 😊
