Why is optinal the configuration of group mapping ?
Hi, At 9:22 i don't understand what you are configuring? What's the purpose?
Need to install User-ID Agent on AD Server?
By adding the administrator group on the service account defeat the purpose of the service account.
Adding the account to Administrators is dangerous... Any way you can delegate minimum permissions?

Documentation indicates Distributed COM built in, Event Log Reader and Server Operator. Not sure why he suggests Administrator

You are both correct; you should not add the user to the administrator group; but, I did it to speeds up the demonstration. Only group you are required to add it to are: * Distributed COM built in, * Event Log Reader and * Server Operator.

If you carefully listen to the lesson, I explain it, but I know most people don't bother and just look at the steps.
