Palmaia The House of AIA has incredible food. Don’t let the fact that this resort is vegan…(Yes I said VEGAN) stop you from booking. If you’ve never tried vegan food start here!
There are four restaurants, two cafes, a mobile coffee hut, plus 24 hour room service.
All restaurants are only open on certain nights for dinner.
Everyday, the Nomadic who is your personal butler will text you using WhatsApp and tell you the restaurants that are available that day to select from. Typically there are 2 options each night and then your nomadic will make your reservation.
FOUR PALMAIA RESTAURANTS
1. SU CASA is open daily for breakfast and lunch. No reservations are needed for daily meals. Su Casa is also open certain evenings and for this dinning experience your Nomadic will make your reservation.
2. UME is an Asian inspired dinning experience.
3. MAR DE OLIVO is a Mediterranean inspired dinning experience.
4. LEK is the Mexican inspired dinning experience.
SNACKS & LUNCH
1. PLANTISSA is like a beautiful Starbucks cafe. They are open 8am until 5pm daily and offer coffee, vegan baked pastries, smoothies, green juices, chia puddings, and make daily specials like a croissant guacamole sandwich that was so indulgent.
2. CHARLY’S VEGAN TACO TRUCK is open for midday for vegan tacos and burritos they also have yummy brownies and I think their vegan nachos are really great.
3. MOBILE COFFEE HUT I would see on the bike path in the mornings and on a different day I saw it on the pool deck by Su Casa.
4. EOLO BEACH CLUB is a bar that is open everyday and serves drinks in the pool and beach area.
5. CHILDREN’S MENU is really sweet and even caters to infants

I’ve been thinking going Vegan for awhile, been Soya butter & milk about 7 or 8 years now, don’t eat beef or pork as can’t stand smell or taste, but not sure if could give up chicken, lamb, seafood, yogurt or cheese. Love to know your thoughts ? Notification bell on 💕😊

I've been vegetarian for 5 years. Prior to that I ate a lot of chicken and I was really worried about giving that up and thought it that would be really difficult. But it was actually pretty easy. There are so many good chicken substitutes out there that I haven't really missed the real thing. The only thing I crave from time to time is salmon, which is kind of funny because I didn't even eat that too much before going vegetarian.

I used to be a huge meat and cheese eater -- Watch "Forks over Knives" documentary. Life-changing :-) We've been vegan since 2017, family of 4 with a vegan dog too lol.

@sczernecki oh no not the dog. I let my dogs eat meats since that's what their diet would have consisted of they weren't domesticated.

Hard to be vegan when you have a soy allergy, everything is tofu or has tofu in it

Yeah I think having a soy allergy would make being vegan hard. I don’t really like soy products and I’m not a vegan but this place was incredible
