Welcome to our walking tour of Mallorca's capital city - Palma de Mallorca!
This walk begins on Avenue de Gabriel Roca near the marina and heads towards The Cathedral of Santa Maria of Palma. More commonly referred to as La Seu, this Gothic Roman Catholic is a a soaringly immense structure overlooking the Bay of Palma. From the cathedral we take a wander through Palma's streets and finish at Plaça Major.

¡Bienvenido a nuestro recorrido a pie por la capital de Mallorca, Palma de Mallorca!Este paseo comienza por la Avenida de Gabriel Roca cerca del puerto deportivo y se dirige hacia La Catedral de Santa María de Palma. Más comúnmente conocida como La Seu, esta católica romana gótica es una estructura inmensa con vistas a la Bahía de Palma. Desde la catedral damos un paseo por las calles de Palma y terminamos en la Plaça Major.

@@carpediauk1698 The Spanish are Visigoths, they have never been Arabs, even if they lived together for 750 years before being sent back to Africa. We know what stubborn resistance opposed to the attackers by the Moors grouped around their emir, who had proclaimed the jihad. But, for their part, the Spaniards no longer wanted the presence of the Moors on the soil of the Peninsula and had sworn to put an end to Granada; the construction of the improvised town of Santa-Fé in the plain, facing the ramparts of the besieged capital, testified to their resolution, which received its reward on the day when, after nine months of siege (April 26, 1491 - January 2, 1492), Boabdil opened the gates of his city to Isabelle's soldiers and tearfully delivered Granada, which he had shown himself incapable of defending.

@@carpediauk1698 I'm Arabic and I say that's not true, it's true that there is a handfull of Arab ancestry in Spain that's can't be denied and the cultural impact has influnced Spain for 6 centuries, but still the majority of Iberia people are Visigoths original tribes and clans and it's impossible in history to replace the original people of anyland let alone Spain/Iberia. For Spain it has a beautiful post-renissance & baroque culture but also do not be ungrateful for the influence of Islamic Arabic/Moorish culture too which made Spain a world's top tier paradise and civilization and shaped part of Spain history.

A fantastic video from Palma. You also have to visit Porto Cristo to see the caves of drach..by bus and 3 minutes away from the beach is a Bar with terrace ..street Calle Sureda where you can eat fantastic empanadas..small pastries stuffed in combination with cheese and meat or sweet. They speak english, german, spanisch and they have realy low prices. We enjoyed the day in Porto Cristo and Palma and back to Cala Millor

Paloma de Mallorca de verdad es Sumamente Hermosa, este video empieza enseñándonos la Majestuosidad de su Catedral que es un Símbolo Icónico de España y del Mundo tanto por su Arquitectura externa como interna y el Tesoro Artístico Plasmado en sus Lienzos, Altares, Figuras, Etc. es incalculable y de Un Tesoro Histórico Inigualable. Así mismo al caminar por sus calles nos transporta quizá hacia tiempos pasados donde el Sociego y la comunicación entre vecinos y la sociedad en común era más acorde y que no necesitábamos de las redes sociales para absolutamente nada y talvez así la vida la llevamos con más calma y sociego y no con tanta desesperación como lo hacemos actualmente, como ha cambiado la vida.. no..! ! Otro punto primordial como lo vemos es que Todas las Islas Baleares, especialmente Palma de Mallorca son un muy visitadas por cientos de miles de turistas a lo largo de cada año debido a la Belleza de sus Paisajes, de sus Playas, de su Hostelería, de su Comida, de la Calidad de la Cultura de Su Gente, su Música, en Fin por muchísimas cosas que hacen de que Mallorca sea Privilegiada junto con su Clima para Atraer a Turistas de Todas Partes del Mundo........ Muchas Felicidades a Quienes Vienen y A Quienes Desean Venir Hacedlo Pronto Que.
