Pallet Wood Build : Planting Station

Come check out this 100% pallet wood planting station! This was a somewhat challenging build, but was one of the more rewarding in terms of the feeling of accomplishment. I really didn't think I would be able to make anything worthwhile, but I really impressed myself here. I really hope this video is funny and inspiring. I simply cannot convey what I felt when I got done building this. I ripped all the boards down to 3 1/8", 3", 2 1/2", and 2" based on what condition they were in. It took a total of three pallets to make this planting station. For simplicity, all boards were 1/2" thick.
Top:
2@40" x 3" tall
2@24" x 3" tall
3@39" x 2 1/2" tall
Many various width boards at 23" in length.
Bottom:
2@36" x 2" tall
7@23" x 2" tall
Several various widths at 36" in length.

I post as close to once a month as I can on my channel. I aim to spawn new ideas from existing builders and inspire new builders to get started. This is also a good way to get started building something. Based on where you are at, you may be able to acquire pallets for free. If this is the case, you should do that. Reach me on instagram if you want or need help with this project or any of the other ones on my channel. Thanks for stopping by, I appreciate your time.

@H Younger Hey H, check my reply to your other comment regarding the twin xl mattress size. Long and the short...I really don't want to recommend you build a floating bed frame for this mattress due to how narrow and long it is. I think it will tip over and I can't be having anyone getting hurt because of something that I recommended that they build. I hope you understand. Talk to you again down the road my friend.

hey so i have wanted a floating bed, but we have xl twin beds will it work to make them floating beds or are they too small?

@H Younger Hey H...you are commenting on my 'pallet wood planting station' video...I wasn't sure if you were aware of that or not. If I remember correctly, the twin xl measures 38" x 80" and this is too narrow for my floating bed frame set up. Several people have requested this size in the last 2 years or so, but I just don't think I can design something that will be structurally sound enough that I can send it to my subscribers and recommend you guys build it. I have to be careful of liability issues. I wish I could help you more my friend. Please feel free to reach me on instagram realc_love1 and I'll do what I can to work with you personally if you'd like. Thanks for stopping by. I appreciate you talking to me.

@Talisha Field Hi Talisha, thanks for stopping by. What country are you in? I'm in the USA and I've already posted a full size floating bed frame with led lights on my channel and I believe that to be the same size as your double size. An internet search tells me that both are measured at 54" x 75". Did you need the measurements converted over to metric? I haven't done a video for the headboard for the full size floating bed frame yet, but sooner or later, I'll get around to posting it on my channel. I hope this helps and I look forward to talking to you again down the road. Thanks for your support. kzread.info/dash/bejne/i65lj8d6YrivdJM.html
