Hi, Topher. The exact time to change IIE to pallasite was 2004, when we found the first PAL samples.

ا Dear sir, if you please and kindly What are the best types of devices that detect? Meteorites correctly without error? Can you recommend a specific device that you deem appropriate? Does it save you time and effort?

Nothing out there made to find or detect meteorites with out error. Sorry Topher, I thought I would take this question off your hands

I am sorry to say that I'm not particularly qualified enough to give you any advice in this. I only have one metal detector it is a Gold Bug II. There are a ton of groups on Facebook that can probably help you. Look for metal detecting and treasure hunting groups.
