For switch players who are having trouble quick-drawing bug bombs or your bow, remember you can edit the position of your tools on the wheel, and it makes a difference. Your bow and your smoke bombs are the only ones you need to draw quickly. On the wheel I can flick to the noon and the three o'clock positions faster than the others with my right thumb, so that's where I position my bow and smoke bombs on the wheel. So experiment with which position you can draw your tools fastest.

I’m on Switch so it is def more difficult to switch out weapons but one thing that helped is that i would make sure I had sticky bombs set. So even if you barely hit the bug it’s enough to stop it temporarily for a more accurate hit. I’ve also learned to slow down just a tad to switch out items. Better to slow down and grab the 💣 the first time than fumbling because you grabbed your bow and now have to switch again. As a switch player I have less time but one thing I’ll say is that my long range 💣 shots have gotten better.

I got the ladybug plushy. Before I knew it even existed. And it is now my absolutely favourite thing i have in this game.

I got the last bug in the game that I needed last night! So I have the trophy now because of my hubby who is much quicker than I. I’m so excited. Now to get these dang plushies. Thanks for the vod.

You can map your tools, ie bow and smoke bombs to a number key. My bow is 4 and my bug bomb is 5. I find it faster to switch than hitting R and then selecting tool.

Thank you for the video! I think the devs are in a rut that seems to continually forget about solo players! I have walls of stared lunar bugs and beetles, but I cannot get these two for some reason. Two weeks into the update and still neither of those two, it shouldn’t be that hard for solo players!!

I'm sorry you're having such a poor experience. There are DEF a ton of bugs that really need to be addressed, but they did change the plush rates both with Zeki and seemingly with the bugs. I got two bug plushies today and one on launch day! But there are thousands of great games out there, if Palia isn't for you, I hope you find one you love that meets your expectations!

@@RavyniaGaming I don't bother doing things where they are using behavioral manipulation like intermittent reinforcement. It's a vile thing to do to people and should be illegal. I stick to what I do enjoy, which is making pretty plots and doing quests.

You can play however you want. :) But if you really hate games with intermittent reinforcement and don't want to support them because of your personal morals, I recommend the new castle builder Tiny Glade! Just doodling and building castles, nothing to hold you back but your own creativity, and as far as I'm aware, no rng or random drops or random chests or anything like that. Enjoy!
