I do like the model of rex but i also knows its not the best one, but the giga reallyyyy needs a TLC

The original giga roar is a little cooler because it’s supposed to be the big bad apex predator but the eco giga roar gives it that aura

The animation are crazy good

satisfaction at its finest

Would be cool if they could be standalone additions rather than replacer as an ini option. Giga is 100% an improvement but I like both rexes for very different reasons. Also despite filling the same niche the newer Rex has a starkly different taming method which is ok but I like the old one cos sometimes simplicity is nice too. Don’t suppose anyone knows of another mod that is fairly lightweight, compatible with single player and good for adding OG Rex spawns back? Would be handy for other replacer type mods too…

They are not knockout tames. Taming is more difficult. There are guides on KZread

They're not KO tames. It's basically the Carch taming method but after the initial corpse it becomes passive and will sometimes approach you to either be pet or request to be fed raw meat, raw prime, or mutton. Also doesn't loose any taming effectiveness from being hit during the "ride it and run around killing stuff" phase of taming.

fue creado con esa intencion, ser delgado, fuerte, agil. El rex de la vida real era asi, hasta llegar a la vejez, cuando se ponian muy gordos y lentos. Al final, este rex tiene una super mordida, sigue siendo muy fuerte y mejor que otros carnivoros en el juego

@@miguelmunguiamendoza bueno, yo cuando veo el esqueleto del rex veo es a un tanke la verdad 😅, pero siento que le falta peso a su ataques, solo compara lo con el giga y ves la enorme diferencias, y eso que se supone que el rex era mucho más pesado y grande

Rex is cool, giga's roar is kind of meh

realistically it should have some hair on it... but i still ike this version much more than inaccurate base one.

It made me realise how shit Ark's actual models are lmao

rex looks a bit thin and giga is maybe to tall ? Still way better than ark. Idk how ark giga had 0 updates, it looks so ugly

@@LaughingGhost96 They don't fit, tho. Ark has a more stylized comical look with animals typically having exaggerated proportions (larger heads, big feet etc) these models are nice but look like they were just ported from a completely different game

Ark designs are inconsistent as hell.

Mixed bag for me, as I like the new designs, but prefer the original roars. The rex's original in particular is borderline signature for rexes in all their depictions. Without it, it doesn't feel like one. The Giga's original roar is also terrifying, while the new one sounds like a demon cow. Kinda disappointed with the audio team who worked on these, which is a shame because the designs, animations and saddles look superb. Gonna stick to the originals for this gripe alone.

I don't like them 😂 they look smaller and terrible
