Patrik Hjorth, You are right/I agree!! And despite Loving Placebo sense their 1st record, that song & it's video; I didn't think of that. Should've, but it's been a While sense I saw that vid. I say it's inspiration/paying homage to an Iconic band w/a few similar themes & not "ripping off" as some will prob. say. (not saying You're saying that..) Placebo really has such stellar videos, esp. many earlier ones, such as 36 Degrees dir. by Chris Cunningham; one of my favorites. But, Maybe this vid (the director prob. more so than Pale Waves themselves..or both, idk..) is Also paying homage to The White Stripes a bit as well. And I never thought about it, but maybe Jack White even got some inspiration from that classic Placebo video, but made it into part of a concept for he & Meg's band's color scheme; never thought of that possibility. Anyway though, really great catch there!! And to all, for the the record: I truly Love Every artist/band I mentioned here; a Lot. Sure P.Waves are new, but I feel (esp. now after hearing their full debut LP..), they show much promise to grow even more through the years; esp. compared to Many other new "rock"/ect bands coming out of the UK/US/ect., many which are drivel. Also those saying P.Waves' tracks all "sound the same" (I disagree, but only Opinion..), just look at some other band's early work/debut LP's & how MUCH they grew over the years. Radiohead is a nice example w/their debut LP's sound. Then even the 2nd LP being very different & their sound/styles continuing to vary Much more through the years; you know? But, just My personal Opinions on art is all. Excellent new video here though & I feel one of their best!! - @deadpopstar

She's rockin' the Season 2+ Delenn :-)
their music may sound the same but each song has a different message and different beats. i love it. i love how open she is in her videos. it is so her. this band is truly amazing.
They are amazing live, I am going to be so sad when they get bigger and there are no more small & intimate concerts. Best time of my life and I met them all that night. They are such sweethearts.

Good to see the rest of the band in this vid. They have been pushing Heather without band too much in my opinion. She'll either burn out before she gets good or go total diva and the band will implode at this rate.

Every other video seems to be a bit of a parody/reference to another music video. "Heavenly" was reminscent of the Back Street Boys. This one reminds me of some 90's metal or something.

...I'm ashamed of how accurate this statement is.
I see all these negative comments, give them time, they won’t sell out, we all start with the same whistle, the same scream and yell but over time we grow, let’s see how this rose blossoms
You know, this song actually has a good 80's vibe to it. I could easily see it being on the radio back then.
This is fantastic. Another gr8 band from Dirty Hit records!!
heather: smiles me: thank you for my life

I love pale waves❤︎❤︎
The way she loves in front of the camera, the way she lies on the floor and some of the settings reminds me of Gerard ways posture in mcr music videos especially “I’m not ok I promise” she also has the same style and hair I LOVE THIS SO MUCH

Almost 5 years of listening to this band. Can’t say I regret it :)
One of the best pop choruses of all time no question..
That kind of voice very easy to stuck in my head even though the mv is hillarious
Wide angle and claustrophobic view makes it feel like singer is getting into viewer's personal space. Unsettling is what the director of photography and band was going for? It is working.

this has a very early to mid 90's feel. they for sure we're doing this purposely it seems. Check out "I Think I'm Paranoid" by Garbage. you'll see very many similarities among these two videos despite the different eras they are in.

wow i just found this band but im obsessed
Brazil here!!
I kept liking each of their tracks more than the last. Now I'm thinking once you've heard one, you've heard them all.
It's like the 80's and the 90's had a baby who grew up in the 2000's.
I love this band!!!
THAT production quality
Just found this song and it’s already my fav of 2019 so far
Back to 90's
I love all their songs 💕
I dont know if i really like the beginning of this song but the chorus is really freaking catchy.
This song and video reminds me of the vibe of the 2000s.
I really really love this band! 🌊❤️🌊
so they’re like 2013 1975 but they’re current lmao
This is why people like indie rock. I don’t usually listen to it, but this song is so great!
Another strong song. Love this band.
This song is magnificent!
Uma das melhores coisas que acontecem pra mim esse ano foi conhecer essa banda ❤️❤️
Thank you so much i found this band❤️

Wow. I just got transported to the 90’s
I love this band! there like a modern band version of La Roux
Pqp! Fazia tempo que não ficava ansiosa por uma banda lançar música. Amo vocês *-*
one of my favorite tracks on the album along with Red and the classic Television Romance !
This an ode to rockpop of the 90s.
always creating new catchy music. very deep too. keep it up lovelies ❤️❤️❤️😭
Honestly I wish this was on the radio! This song is too good too just not be a hit!
How have I not heard of her before!! I think I just found another favorite artist!
They are so talented, it's amazing that they aren't bigger than they are...

HEEY my friend Donivan Really likes you and thinks you’re very beautiful. He also loves your voice and thinks that black lip stick looks amazing on you. He’s honeslty in love with your music and always talks about how much your music speaks to him. He would honestly probably cry if he ever met you. We live in a small town where not much happens and so I doubt you’ll see it but if you do just know you have a major fan!
A year later and I still love this song!
I freaking love this band...I've been looking for a band to listen to an I found them
My Mind makes noises is one of my favorite albums in such a long time it's always on repeat
guys, placebo’s teenage angst video concept has become iconic and has been used over and over again in several songs mv (not okay, mcr). when it’s this similar, they’re hardly copying, more paying homage.
I'm falling deeper and deeper in love with this sound. Help.
I love this song !!! From Japan
