She's improving her voice, I like that. In past live shows she sound so nervous but now she sounds more confident, althought, she has to improve more, I know she can! I love this band so much.

I personally really like Heather's voice live it's very unique and completely her. So many singers sound the same to me these days. Plus, Pale Waves is good fun!! :D

Reminds me on my earliest time while jump into undergrounds scenes..my fingers and knee full of shivers during performances.don't worry lady, it's getting better in time in front of the crowd within a consistent training.

This isn't one of their stronger live performances, but The 1975 was very inconsistent live when they first started. Specifically comparing Heather and Matty. But I've seen The 1975 3 times now and they have been some of the best concertsI've ever been to. Give them time, why do you think the full-length album hasn't come yet? They're not ready but it's coming

petitefraise exactly. People are so brainwashed with “performances” they see on MTV or the Grammys or whatever which aren’t real most of the time. If you ever go to an actual concert in real life you will know bands don’t sound 100% exactly like the record. Records are more of an idealized sound of the band with hours and hours of production, arranging, editing, mixing, etc. which is great, but That’s just not the way it is in a live setting. She sounds fine here seriously.

petitefraise I’m not really sure what you’re insinuation here. Jeff Buckley didn’t use autotune. Nor did Joni Mitchell, and their live performances were fantastic, if not arguably better than their recordings. It’s not difficult to grasp. Music now, especially this new indie synth pop stuff is incredibly overproduced. Making the industry literally about who you know now, in this case, it’s The 1975, and nothing to do with what you actually sound like which is what people pay to see. If your live shows are bad because you can’t replicate your records, be an album band.

Yes, mostly tracks that play along their click tracks, in the vocals its backup vocals, harmonies, and doubling of the lead line to make it thicker.

Paul Smith hey, let’s hear you sing live every night. When did you get signed?? Did you release your album yet? Can you show us a video of yourself performing? Most of these comments come from people who can’t do jack shit. Singers have good and bad days, it’s true, but how about you chill out and let people enjoy what they want. How about you open your mouth when you can do the same. Until then, let us know when you put that video up so we can criticize your skills as well.
