Found along the eastern and north eastern coast of Australia, Pale-headed rosellas are a very timid but beautiful member of the Rosella genus.

Thank you for this video and information. I recently had a pair of Pale Headed Rosellas in our nest box in our front yard. They laid four eggs but only three hatched. It was lovely watching them grow and when they fledged the parents quickly took them somewhere possibly safer as once out they would have had to deal with local Magies and Butcher Birds. I really enjoyed watching this.

Definitely not a hybrid. They are a species of Rosella- a kind of parrot in Australia
