I've watched and read a lot of material and stumbled on yours and found it to be the most trustworthy and informative coaching site available in such a vast market. You literally helped me take the leap to place my first put option, ever. I am already up 50% but have a long way to go to understand all of this. Been straying with ETFs(SPY, QQQ,IWM), but TA is tough with indexes, so just going with flow with selling puts on red days, calls on green. However, PLTR might be enough for me to commit more to individual stocks, more risk, but no so much since it appears to be a good company. Thx for video.

More money has been lost by trading against the trend than anything else. The trend in PLTR is down. Wait for a trend reversal to up and then sell puts below the market.

I sold 22 put 5/24 yesterday afternoon 7 lots and made over $360 by 1pm today and then I sold 21 puts for same time frame so if I do get assigned I save $700 the switch reduced the original premium by $200, but I will save $500 if I am assigned. Henry makes you really think about it all. thanks Henry.

It's been dumping and pumping in this range for ages! It's technically just going sideways, sideways means generally stagnant. More emphasis should be put into day trading, as it less affected by the unpredictable nature of the market. Trading has been going smooth for me as I managed to grow a nest egg of around 100k to a decent 432k in the space of a few months... I'm especially grateful to Tobias Hawke, whose deep expertise and traditional trading acumen have been invaluable in this challenging, ever-evolving financial landscape.

How about selling June 14th VZ $40 put? The company has excellent cash flow. In the worst case, holding assigned shares to collect dividend.

Which strike price and premium please?

How does it work when people sell Itm options. Shouldn’t they immediately get put to shares ? I’m some of your past videos you showed buying deep itm calls to mimic the movement of the stocks. But I’m confused about how that works since i thought if the option crossed the strike price then you get put to shares? Thank you

Options only have risk of assignment when they have next to no extrinsic value left. When you sell an ITM option you have both intrinsic and extrinsic value. If the stock was trading at 50 and you sold a 47.50 call for say $3 in premium you’d have $2.50 in intrinsic value and $.50 in extrinsic value. If the stock continues to rise and as you get closer to expiration the $0.50 in extrinsic value could decay… once it gets down to .01-.05 you have a real risk of assignment (especially if there is ex dividend date approaching before expiration). If the stock decreases your extrinsic value would increase (as extrinsic value is higher as you approach ATM) and your risk of assignment would decrease up to expiration at which point theta decays all of the extrinsic value and the option is either exercised if ITM or expires worthless if OTM.

Reverse Henry Strategy. I just buy pltr put when he releases a new pltr video. Working great so far!

Dilution is not an issue as SBC has been declining. Secondly, you need an exit target price. If you hold for years, you may lose on your investment or certainly miss the peak return.

Still expensive

it's currently valued at 20x earnings though...that's crazy, not even Microsoft is valued at that (it's valued at 15x). So I think it makes sense for it to have dropped in price. What PLTR needs to do is a 1:5 reverse split. The $20 price makes it look cheap when in fact it's overvalued as hell

Im struggling to understand why using $1900 to gain $76 is something to be excited about. Maybe im just too poor to grasp it but isnt that a wild amount of money to risk for so little gain?

Palantir still continues to dilute shares 10% annually. If this continues the number of outstanding shares will double in nine years. They are growing at 20%/yr. In nine years their revenue will triple if growth doesn’t accelerate. That could happen but not many KZread analysts factor this dynamic into forward pricing. Their current multiple seems high to me.

Hey Henry but on the 1 year 1 day chart it has big gaps to fill before it rebounds as stocks tend to always fill the gap

Selling $18 puts is a no brainer in case it wants to close the gap. If it does great, you got it at the gap close. If it doesn’t, you collect some premium.

The CEO of Palantir seems more intrigued with making politically-motivated statements and jumping up on a soapbox he's not yet earned. When your CEO is distracted this way, it is not a healthy bell weather for his or her stock. He needs to focus more on the business of Palantir and less on his opinion about items a thru z in our society because it distracts from job 1.

Some predictions think Palantir will go down to 10 before it goes higher.
