Think of Ontology as the study of correlations and categorization. If you had a whole bunch of data implementing Ontology would be finding every possible similarity between them and grouping them as per that correlation and then possibly comparing that to an entirely different set of data. It’s really like complex data analytics lol

Basically they sell a nice interface to companies and the government that want to feel like they are doing something innovative. In reality the tech is overpriced, unscalable and mediocre. Not to say that it’s completely worthless, as long as they can sell their product to higher ups and retail investors they do alright.
