What is glancing.. meaning please?

The tree that doesn't use Holy Shield bash is something I would recommend for playing Guardian in PvP. It will make an enemy miss more often, if you select the talent for it, and is ranged. Guardian in PvP is incredibly effective, by the way. You are the definition of a problem. You can bring the single target stun to get someone deleted by your team, use the leap to engage or chase, walk into someone with your 4 activated, use your 2 to debuff a dangerous opponent or kill a player who is retreating or trying to kite at low hp.

I wrote an essay to your other comment but it didn't go through :( I very much prefer the bash ability for DMG reduction and lowering cheat death timer. The sword ability gives 9% dodge and your right side talent gives even more dodge based on your glancing rate so I'm playing around with that. I'm able to give sample builds in the spreadsheet but everyone should adapt them to the boss/starts/personal play style. I for example would never focus full omni because I love lower cd to spam shield and stack shields as high as my hp (40K)

Hard to say. I need more raid experience on warrior before I can make a real comparison. I am working on a comparison guide for tanks & healers but it's far from ready. At this point I'd say both work but i cannot really compare them yet.

I have a question. If i attack the boss as Tank spec do i automatically have highest aggro as long as i keep attacking?

Assuming you hit it first generally yes. Use your aoe over time ability to hold it

Bard, Barb & priest are all WIP atm. I don't want to take short cuts and produce less helpful information so its taking longer than expected but will be done before global

Quick question Is it like wow where you need different gear sets for different spec For example I want to go pally DPS do I need a 2 hander etc in inventory to switch out So need to farm both gear sets

Yes...and No. Everything below is Paladin specific stat information. Paladin (tank) main stat is Glancing (dmg reduction) If you swapped to DPS spec the glancing would change into Crit rate (your dps main stat) So you can swap specs and the gear will get you through all the basic content (normal, elite, challenge dg). You can even do some raids with it, I'm sitting top 1-3 dps usually. gyazo.com/bcd21cd6e036d3e9646f2d8221da78a5 as you can see in this each piece of gear adapts to which ever role you're running but the problem is a piece could be amazing for dps but change it and its trash for tank. Tldr : Low/mid level content you can do both fine. Harder content becomes the more you'll be pushed into one role as you need to min/max more to keep up. There are a lot of other things as well such as enchants, gems, stones and what not that you'd need for both specs. While you can play low/mid content np you'll never be a god at both roles (unless you've been at end game a long time?)

@@VarietyMMOs I see think I’ll stick with guard for my pally main roll an alt maybe a mage if I want to go dps keeps things more simple This is turning into wow already where I’ve got a tank dps and healer 😂 Also what about gear drops in dungeons and raids is their a roll system like wow where people are fighting over some of the same pieces or is loot issued to the player automatically Sorry for all the questions

I am working on it right now. Getting a few days break from raids has given me some much needed breathing room to update the class guides. The paladin will be the first in depth guide I release. I've played paladin over 100 hours at this point so it'll be very in depth

how about Judment Sword route talent build, is it that bad? i mean this route has DOT dmg, as I know dot dmg is good in this game then why its not recomended?

I wouldn't say it's bad, it's just not to my liking. I am currently working on in depth paladin talent section now I've played it a lot longer so I will address judgement sword talent when I update it

So if my goal to play tanker paladin, should i use tank talent and eq from lv 1 ?. Or i should do dps paladin to clear the quest and start progressing to become a tank after lv 40 ?

This game has time gates. day 1 = level 20 & first dungeon with normal, elite, challenge modes day 2 = level 26, second dungeon with normal, elite challenge modes In tarisland dungeons are opening every day for the first week. Level to 20 as dps, swap to tank and do dg content from day 1. when you need to do open world/levelling stuff swap back to dps at any time.

you kept using the word proc but really dps pally is build/spend right? There's no actual dynamic procs? Is that right?

Plenty of procs. Crits/combos activate special effects on many classes over many skills. There is a huge amount of rng in skills activating or not

Really want to tank, whats the easiest class for this? Paladan looks cool

Paladin tank/dps = fun & smoth Warrior tank ..eh, dps is fun barb dps is ..eh, tank class is meh as well but it's easier to play and offers plenty of base DMG reduction using a paladin to rotate skills is a lot harder than barb. Due to how effective barb is I am currently gearing one up despite me not liking the class

Which of the two dps speccs is the best one for pve?

I'm not sure. If nothing tragic happens the last 3 classes will be available before global officially releases. I'm 75% sure tomorrow is priest but beyond that is unknown. It is coming tho!
