You know why? Cause it's a Tseries production. Gulshan kumar was killed due to his bhakti as a true santani but nothing could stop sanatanis. A production house matters a lot to deliver constructive product or a piece of Art. Edit: don't forget AR rahman is a hindu and he is converted for his personal matter. SRK's mother was a hindu(of course she was converted to Islam after marriage) but he does have a hindu blood. And this song and movie is the vision of director and producer that the team had to follow. I give entire credit to Ashutosh Gowarikar to bring out goodness from other artists. Don't forget the singers, fabulous madhushree and vijay prakash.

रोम-रोम मे सिहरन सी पैदा हो गयी इस असाधारण गीत को सुन कर, लगान फ़िल्म मे भी जावेद साहब ने भक्ति गीत रचा था,, भगवान राम आज के समय बोहोत अधिक प्रासंगिक है जबकि उनके नाम का गलत इस्तेमाल कुछ साम्प्रदायिक शक्तियों द्वारा किया जा रहा है,, राम जैसे मनुष्य विरले ही जन्म लेते हैं, हज़रत श्री राम जी की जय।

No, i think u misunderstood! I very much appreciate the fact that u pointed those things. Same way ee know that most of the bhajans sug in bollywood movies are a combination of yusuf khan, mohd rafi, sahir ludhiyanvi and naushad. I completely support religious harmony, if thats what u were trying to say in your comment. But personally, i dont consider pointing these things out, as acc to me, there should be a manner in our country and all the others, where religion of a person should not matter, neither in the good things and certainly not in bad things.
