The reason why a lot of the interviewers may lack in english is because they must have given their UPSC exam in hindi. It's entirely possible for a condidate to choose what language he or she wants to be interviewed in. So these interviewers try their best to make use of whatever English they know.

Farrukh : I don't wanna diss someone, I don't wanna point at someone. Farrukh every two minutes : Why they're speaking like this ? Where is the grammar ? Where is the proper attitude ? They don't look qualified.... etc..... :D

There's an issue that you do not realise when it comes to India. There are numerous languages. And no central language that everyone is deemed to learn unlike URDU in Pakistan. So in this scenario English isn't a language to boast knowledge rather a need. This exam like many others has English as a qualifying paper, i.e. you just need to pass it and it has no effect on your rankings or marking overall. So it's not expected from a candidate or an ex- serviceman to be proficient in it but this by no means means they lack in other aspects of their knowledge which is much more important in carrying out the duties they are actually supposed to where English isn't a deciding factor. 😅 Hope someone reads it.

1st thing in India..being able to speak English doesn't mean you are a qualified person...but the ability to solve the problem shows how qualified you are.. 2nd thing..in this exam people can have preference in which they want to be interviewed or to write the exam... 3rd thing..they are very very well qualified and educated people

No, English is not important in upsc. Only communication is. You can give the exams in any language of India.

So, might have to do with knowledge more. Also before the interview, they ask the language you're comfortable with so the interview can be conducted in that language.

This is not a real interview.This is a mock interview organised by coaching institutes.

The reason for difficulty in treating e-waste is that there are a lot of elements in microchips, there are 80-90 layers of different elements. Segregation of these elements is the biggest issue...

Many civil servants come from villages with strong determination so English & Grammar isn't always perceived as a Must. So it's More about the Person & Personality.

Bro they are not the real guys in the panel who chose the candidates.. They are just a well qualified tutors who guides how to crack interview in real panel members.. Love from India 🇮🇳

Drishti is Hindi medium centric teaching institute and yes the board members are not very good while speaking English but in real interview all board members are very eloquent and like Shashi tharoor type😂 But these board members are very experienced if you watch Hindi interview you will get it. If you read this please watch Hindi medium topper interview of " Ravi Kumar Sihag" by drishti team.

English is not a testament for knowledge or qualification. It's a mere language. This is issue with south asia, we think knowing english means qualification.

English is not a criteria here for selection at all.. You should be good in communication in any one language (Hindi/English or any state language) .

Brother this is a mock interview in a coaching institute, before his selection, you can see the logo of drishti IAS coaching behind him,UPSC in reality does not allow recording of the interview. Coaching institute does this to analyse later on 😊

I think you are thinking like what i was thinking back in 2001.. I was new to Bangalore and still learning English trying to be grametically correct. But than i realised it was a first language and every one was using the language to communicate more than being grametically correct.. It’s not a 360 degrees interview. The guy has chosen his optional subject as geography and therefore so many geography specific questions. Every candidate has to choose a main subject and an optional subject. Then the questions also depend on your background for eg this guy is an engineering graduate and therefore he is bound to be asked his engineering major related questions too. Then you also specify your hobbies before the interview and they ask you questions about that as well just to make sure that what you’re saying is your actual hobby and you’re not simply saying it for the sake of it.

i also wanna join the "WE" Community as you say in your videos that "WE" know what is happening in India or with Muslims in India, Plz enlighten us what is happening in India.

Bhai. I think there is definitely an increase. The level of reporting when the accused belongs to a certain 'we' religion is so intense but a vice versa situation is not there. Recently you must not be aware of but few people from IT cell of a certain party were accused of rape. Let alone action police failed to File FIR infact if the students hadn't sat on a dharna there wouldn't have been anything.But you can see of multiple incidents if buldozer and other things when the accused is from 'we' community. Bro atleast earlier media reported every incident equally not like today

They are teachers in a coaching institute who take the interview, most of them are former civil servants who have served in the UPSC or in other government department, other are professors in top Indian universities. They are not the "actual" UPSC interviewers.

UPSC interviewes are not to judge your English fluency , it's made for judging your knowledge level and whether you've the confidence and right mindset for performing civil service.

This is a Mock interview done by a coaching centre not a real UPSC interview because they are not recorded.

Intolerance is there in India but you can't say Indians are not aware. Intolerance and these communal issues are political. If you see any video, most probably it is committed by someone related to politics and also not in all states. The state where I come from is very diverse and mostly peaceful and if it's not then we know some politician did something. The thing is India has been a secular country with religious differences from decades. The current government has learnt to put these differences in use and social media and tv media has further accentuated it. That's why you think it this way.

This is not an english language test interview in which they will start finding grammar mistakes..In India, english is assessed only as a spoken language, just like in every other western country. Every interviewee is given the option ( either hindi or english) to give the interview in the language in which he/she feels comfortable.

This exam is also taken in Hindi. So it’s not compulsory to speak perfect English.

The fact that when people from russia Japan France or any other will have a different accent tab kisiko koi dikkt nhi hogi but jab humlog ki hogi toh usipe mock krna like dude knowledge dekho bhaai

It is a mock interview and they are not real interviewers. They are just coaching instructors.

This exams or interview is not a test of one's expertise in English... It's about how commanding is your knowledge on the particular subject and tell me a civil servant works on ground level and I don't think he needs to have a proper command over the language.. When you go communicate with the common people you have to know their language and their problems And it's not like they shouldn't be knowing it, they have a decent understanding and speaking skills it's just that they don't require that corporate or say a formal way of it

First : Gald to have this video recommend coz sometime back I was wondering where did this channel and the guy go...obviously because I never suscribed the channel. 2nd : The motive of these interviews are not to judge the knowledge because these candidates have cleared the test and that itself is the testament to their knowledge but its to judge the overall personality of the candidates to understand how well they respond under pressure ,thought process , analytical thinking ,presence of mind etc.
