Safal brand (since 1988) ke Pickles, Packaged frozen green peas, fruits and vegetables bhi Mother Dairy ke hai, supplies to 16 states of India... bread, butter, ice cream sab milta hai..... Amul is competitor of Mother Dairy....

Milk vending machine mein 32years se dkh rha hoon. Yaha toh abhi water ATM bhi aa gaya hay 2rs de k 1ltr paani milta hay. Milk machine tara same hota hay. Bottle rakho 2rs se 1ltr thanda or normal paani le lo.

It's really surprising that he was bemused to see mother dairy milk outlet. Don't know about other parts of India but certainly in Delhi it's been around 50 yrs..🙏

in Jaipur also we had milk booth in 1980's.

Every state has a different brand of milk. In Karnataka we have Nandini. And Nandini will have ghee, paneer and many milk related products in their small kiosks.

Mother dairy is not a company. It’s a cooperative of delhi. Every state of India has its own cooperative like Haryana has Vita , Punjab has Verka. In a cooperative there are milk collection centres in villages where purity and fat % of it is checked. Then milk is transported to processing centres - pasteurised first and then packed and reaches the booths in cities

​@@subhasisroy2592 originally it was started as subsidiary of NDDB( national dairy development board) in 1974 as part of initiative to increase milk production in Bharat. He is not wrong in saying that it is just like state co-operatives like he listed as they are all fruits of the same scheme, it's just that being located in the capital region it received better and intensive care from govt hence the development and scale that you see today.

Mother Dairy in Delhi is since more than forty years and Token system is in practice since then. Apart from Mother Dairy Amul and DMS milk also available. Now almost every state have their own Dairy system and no dearth of Milk in India now

Milk vending machines were in use in Delhi from 1980s. I used to buy one token at Rs.1.10 i.e. for half a litre

​@@ganeshgarg2282You could be right. I came to Delhi in 1980. It was there then means even before 1980 these mother dairy booths were available. I have also bouth DMS (Delhi Milk Scheme) in reusable bottles for 90 ps. per bottle of half a litre.

Friends, if I am not wrong, Mother Dairy milk vending stalks are about more than 25 years old. There are various varieties of milk sold here. Rates vary as per fat content. Milk with 8% fat. 6% fat. Standard milk. Toned milk. ( basically for those who want minimum fat content, i.e. 2% fat.) Double Toned. Perhaps with zeero fat. We used to buy Doubled Toned for our dog.

It is so popular that when it was due for launch in Mumbai about 20 years ago, all dairies there got together and planned “How to counter Mother Dairy” 😀

It is called “aaloo chaat”. After boiling these are cut into to pieces, then shallow fried and when they are brownish, they are served with special masala and chutneys.

Bhaji me pure butter hota hai. Full cream milk, tonned/ half cream milk, without cream milk milta products hai.

Mother dairy ke milk parlor to 1976 se hi Delhi me work kar rahe hen. Hum to childhood days se hi in se milk lete rahe hen. Koi nayi baat nahi hai. Those days ek token 1/2 ltr. ka 2 Rs. me milta tha.

aaloo chat to ghar par hi bana sakti ho......kate hue aaloo ko achhe se tal lo aur chatniya - zyada hari wali (dhaniya / pudina / mirch) with thoda sa dahi and mithi chatni -- ya fir only hari chatni (agar thoda theekha chahiye)....but the aaloo should be hot n crispy.....ho gayi aaloo chat taiyaar..... almost every state has a milk co-operative in India jo door-to-door service dete hain / online supply / ATM's etc ke options dete hain.....also kuch jagah to unke apne counters 24 hr open hote hain with not only milk but all the other products made of milk...dahi/ lassi / chach / ice-cream / shakes / even sweets etc....

Delhi guy: Aloo chat is different from Aloo tikki and that was not paneer that was Aloo pieces for Aloo chat.

Purpose of Water ATM is to refill the same disposable water instead of purchasing new bottle. This will help us to save the environment otherwise you can find the water outlets also which are free of cost.

Such outlets r extremely common in Bangalore .

Milk is home grown item. You are not importing from any other country. This should be at cheap price like Rs. 52/- or Rs. 55/-.

Chutrki, Mother's Dairy is over 50 years old. It is not 24/7 allbover Delhi. MD is a delhi and bangalore cooperative every state has its own cooperative. Private brands are too many and freely available at retail shops or free home delivery. Shree Ram sweet gayebaur jalebi nahin khai bhai missed something. Love to Chutrki & Mo❤
