We saw this movie in theatre and we were absolutely shooked by this direction , story and the sound effects were just on another level.. we Indians were really moved by this movie as this is our culture and it connected us to the core . Nowadays there are no movie in Bollywood that connect to Indian locals hence south Indian films are making great impact on locals people.

To play the character of Daivi Kola Rishabh anna left taking non veg for several months because super natural power of demigod came into the body of artist. so he maintained his mindset, food and worshiping god. As Indian, we are proud of our culture. thank you very much for your love and respect for our ancient, cultural values. a lot of respect for you both from my deep heart.

Myself hailing from coastal karnataka( udupi district) a proud tulu speaking guy. The language you mentioned that you didnt understand is "tulu" itself...kola and daiva are integral part of our culture. Rishab shetty and his team have made this film to reach out to each and every corners of the world. Yes, aishwarya rai, suniel shetty, shilpa shetty, vivek oberois wife all are believers of demigods...one fact i wanna mention while shooting rishab shetty and his team didnt eat non veg till this scene was completed also they didnt wear footware as a mark of respect and belief inside the sacred area. Utmost care was taken while shooting these scenes. The actual people who perform kola were been consulted so that there was no room for mistake. Once in a life time time movie to bs watched in theatres only. Jai tulunadu

Unfortunately majority of these except Anushka don't have much connect to the region and state. Most can't even speak fluently in Tulu. This is the problem with english and hindi imposition since 1947.

Yes, Aishwarya Rai is also from the same region. Her Mother Tongue is Tulu. God coming on Human is not restricted to Tulu culture only. This is common in most Southern states of India. Its a big complicated to explain here, but yes this happens.

@@amir2510 The Original name is Dakshina Kannada , comprising of Mangalore or Mangaluru, Udupi Kundapura and Kasaragodu (after the formation of states in 1956 Kasaragodu went to Kerala). The British could not pronounce "dakshina kannada" so they transilated as South Kanara or South Canara . Canara Bank has this reference as it took birth in this region . So Canara or Kanara is the british version of KANNADA

I will never forget that moments which felts during Kantara in INOX.

The one who speaks from within Rishabh Shetty in final scene is Guliga ,the ferocious assistant of higher divinity called Panjurli.Sincr we speak Tulu language we followed the last dialogue. Rishabh's own language is kannada.

Yes, my reaction was same when I watched this movie for the first time. Entire movie was OK for me but last 10 minutes was intense.

The discussion after scene end is very wonderful...it seems you know a lot than Indians and Indian liberals itself ...it was very beautiful conversation

EVERY Hindu South Indian Family (Not sure about North Indian Hindu tradition) has their own Kula (Family) Deiva (Deity). The deity shown in this video is once such deity to the families in that forest. God coming on Human is common in Hinduism. I have seen it with my very own eyes. This happens due to extreme devotion of that person towards the deity. God coming on Human It is not easy for non Indians to understand these scenes of this film to the minute detail like Indians do.

Kula devata and Kuladaivas are different. I am from the same region as Rishabh. My Kuladevata is Vishnu. In Tulunadu, we mainly have matriarchal system. So each matriarchal family has a group of parivara daivas (Demi gods/goddesses mostly Shivaganas) in which Varte/Kallurt i- Panjurli the sister brother duo are important (Varte is the Muhbola sister of Panjurli). Varte or Kallurti the most revered female spirit, believed to be responsible for protection of the family. Few daivas exist as Kula daivas, also as Jagada daiva (of a particular land) and as Grama daiva. From what I understood in the movie, the Panjurli and Guliga kolas shown are for worship as Grama daivas (the land lord still considers as his Jaga daiva because his ancestor had donated it to the villagers). Ofcourse, Patriarchal families worship respective Kuladevata and also believe in jaga and grana daivas. But I doubt whether they have Kula daivas as such.

Theatrical experience is way more different as you said. Somew movies it doesn't make a difference but some movies like this, you have to experience it in theatres otherwise you will feel overrated. Also, Varharoopam song was the soul to this movie which was unnecessarily barred in OTT although now court ruled out the accusations about copyright.

After this climax only most important conclusion is there which really concludes the movie. Glad you guys liked it👍👌

Talking Bhoota koola. most of the time it will happen from evening to early morning i.e from 8:00pm to 6:00am(it may vary) and in some place it may continue 3 to 4 days. i am always wakeup whole night to see Bhoota khoola the energy and experience that u feel in that area is once in a year.i am very lucky that i born in tulunad ❤️.. It's a different culture and people speaks in Tulu language (which is used in the movie a little bit at the beginning and at end ) Love from Mangalore 👁️👁️❤️

Tabhi Panjurli devta yellow color se associated hain, but Rishabh apney muuh pe kaala malta hai, mitti. Kyunki Guliga devta black rang se associated hai . I'm Punjabi and grew up outside India all my life, but I easily relate to this movie and philosophy behind it. Boht boht umda movie hai. Superb!!

There is a correction, what the demigod is enter at the fighting scene in Shiva is called GULIGA a protector and the demigod entered before Shiva reunion with his father is the same namely PANJURLI.

As a Tuluva it would be a treat for us if you react more on Tulu Songs or Tulu culture, because you will help other parts of Indian to realize or introduce that there is a language and Tulu culture exist in India. Dhaiva is part of native culture of tulunadu, it is part of sanathan but it is Not part of puranic hindhu dharma. please understand unfortunately lord vishnu and shiva is originally not Part of this culture.

Nice job. I am originally from Mangalore (Mangalore) or KUDLA AND a Tulu Speaker. I have seen the real DAIVA (DemiGod) Aradhana / Darshan with similar impacts in real. People still continue to be the devotees within the family circles and the community as a whole.

I watched it 3 times in Cinema:2 times in Germany and once in Delhi. All three times goosebumps. The sound and background music is too good and could be best felt in cinamas.
