Our family belongs to Peshawar. As the violence after the partition of India reached Peshawar, it became very dangerous for Hindus to live there. The local Muslims asked Hindus to convert to Islam and live there with all their assets and property. My family chose to renounce everything and migrated to India. I am very proud and happy of my parent's decision. I was born and brought up in Delhi and I am really proud to be an Indian.

Masal Dosa Karnataka style is crispy with a sweet tinged sambar as accompaniment. In Tamil Nadu and Kerala, Masal Dosa is slightly soggy, with a relatively spicy Sambar.

Being a South Indian, I can vouch for that we prefer crispy dosa over soggy one's!!!!!🙏🙏

You are wrong . In Tamil Nadu we get both , crispy and soggy dosas . Soggy ones are called kal dosa .

BTW IMAAN It's not soggy , it's soft dosa.😊 Crispy jo hota hai us me batter ka thin layer dala hota hai. Ek side cook krne se ye pura cook ho jata hai. Soft dosa hota hai usame thoda mota layer hota hai. Ese acche se cook karte hai dono sides se. Soggy ka matalab halfly cooked ho jayega 😊 Ye half cooked nahi hota hai.

Spoons are dip in hot water is normal in Bharat specially in southern states.

If you ordered masala dosa and you got a soggy dosa, then give that restaurant a 1-star review. There are other types of dosa that are meant to be soft like a chappati.

Every " sagars"- walk-in self service restaurants in Bangalore has this spoon,fork sterilizer stand. Very common in Bangalore but not so common in other cities that I have been. Am a happy Banglori.😊 Soft or crispy depends on the order placed by the customers. Crispy means batter spread thinly on the tawa( children and tourists fav), whereas the other is slightly on the thicker ,spongy to take in the flavours of chutney and sambhar.😊

O Madam, South ke side pe "Soggy" dosa nahi, "Soft" dosa milta hai. Kya soggy bol diya aapne? Soggy bolte ho toh feel aata hai ki acchi cheez nahi hai ya kharaab ho gaya hai. South India mein 'ASLI' dosa milta hai, aapne jo Singapore aur Malaysia mein khaaya woh asli dose se bahut kareeb hai. Jo aap crispy aur bahut patla (thin) dosa pasand karte hain woh South Indian restaurants mein milte toh hain lekin woh South Indian restaurants ka invention hai, aur southern Restaurants mein crispy dosas popular nahi hain. Asli mein dosa about 2-3 mm thick hota hai aur soft hota hai. Lekin Bangalore aur south India mein restaurants masterful tareeke se soft and crispy dosa banaate hain. Dosa outside se crispy hote hain aur andar se soft (2-in-1 feel in one single dosa). Bahut acche hote hain South Indian dosas! 🥰
