The Geography of the Chambal area is almost similar to Afghanistan or KP province or NWFP Pakistan, I'm not sure about the Pakistani Waziristan or Baluchistan but I spent some years in Afghanistan and the terrain of Afghan Herat province,,,outskirts of Kabul & Helmut province and the Northeastern frontiers areas bordering Pakistan are similar to the rugged & hilly terrains of Chambal that's why the local villagers prefer horses.......

Pani ki tanki ke liye bijli nahin chahiye. Bijli wahan par chahiye jahan par pump laga hai. Ho sakta hai pump koi 2 3 km dur nadi me laga ho.
