Pakistani Police on my back! Ride with me in the so called "DANGEROUS" area of Pakistan

The way back to Islamabad - Part 2
Many checkpoints/passport entries and a road under construction were part of this riding days from Chilas to Besham. It was not an easy ride, but part of the adventure!
Yes, Pakistani Police on my back that day, but I want to make it clear that the police were always very nice to me, and that they likely have reasons to place foreigners under military escort... As I have been pretty much all around the country and have not found a dangerous area yet. Pakistan is now a VERY safe place to travel!
Hope you enjoy the watch, as well as my ugly dirty face at the end ;)

Those cops have strict orders from the Prime minister since Tourism is picking up again in Pakistan and the things going on in Afghanistan are a pain in the but for us, don't get angry the cops themselves would've let you go alone if they could but their job depends on it so pls kindly try to make it easier for them and yourself since it's for your own good. Also i hope these roads will get repaired if the tourism is a success and money comes in these roads will surely get repaired. Thanks for showing this side of Pakistan 🇵🇰♥️🇫🇷

The people in that part of the world are actually more human but at times they could be noisy, curious and more helpful because bad peoples also exist everywhere. I don't remember what the exact cause was but some bandits assaulted a tour bus, stole valuables and killed some local tourists in that area. What you experienced with the constant protocol and protection was a reaction of that event. I understand your frustration, and to honest you were perfectly safe because incidents like these are one offs, it isn't a common occurrence but since our government is doing their best to promote tourism and making sure Pakistan is safe for travel for foreigners such as yourself, they have to take that extra precaution on the off chance there are still malicious elements in the area. Wish you well on your journeys man.... hopefully by the time you return to that route the roads will have been fixed and you can enjoy the scenery properly like it deserves to be appreciated :)

They enter your passport number in their system so if any incident happens they have the data to trace you. As Pakistani PM was saying to US and their Allies don't pull out without making a coalition government in Afghanistan otherwise it will affect Pakistan the most and terrorism will start again in Pakistan. I Love your video, I am a Rider myself so much respect Bro. The "Poice Escorts" are just a gesture of hospitality in our culture and country as a sign to welcome people as the general perception about our country is given off as "unsafe" for foreigners. So they escort so that you do not run into any problem and so that if there is any problem thwy are there to offer you help of any kind. Since you mentioned, I thought I would give a bit of a background to clear it out. Its like when a guest comes to our home in our culture people make sure their guests are wel taken care of and protected. Since in these areas the locals are not very familiar with foreigners and do not speak the language so the police just tries to make sure there are no misunderstandings or hurdles, they have orders from the government as well.. Peace ✌ P.S. I would really love to meet ypu if you are still in Islamabad ❤🙌

That day was just messy from A to Z haha, what was tiring was the road and the endless passport entries (over 15) but other than that it's all about love. I was actually frustrated because I COULD NOT do what you mention in your message, as the police would not let me interact much with the local and always ask me to carry on.
