    Thanks for posting this. When i was 12 back in 1976 my pops took me on most of this route. Karachi to Lahore by rail. Then from there to Rawlpindi by coach and eventually to Kamra. My pops is no longer with us so this has gave me a great big smile. Thanks. The only thing missing was the samosa sellers at each stop,lol. They tasted so good.

    Truly a fascinating documentary,it was a revolutionary railroad. I am teared up.Alas! We haven't kept this great heritage alive. I have been to this area by car and have seen this mesmerising railroad once used to be a miracle. Thank you for sharing this masterpiece of history.

    I saw this video on ptv when i am younger and inspired the documentary also remember a dialogue " chaey garam hay " rest in my mind i try to found on you tube now right the comment. Thanks youtube

    My grandmother was raised in Khyber Agency. Her father, my great grandfather was the Station Master of Landi Kotal for a period of time. She remembered the area with immense fondness right until the end of her life in India. According to her, it was the safest part of the nation, something that is at odds with the descriptions of the British narratives and also the news media coverage since the 1970s.

    Wonderful docoment totally different from todays Pakistan,all the railway stations in this video looks same like any other railway stations of Uttar Pradesh in India .
