Very very nice collection. I think DPU-30 is a Chinese model not USA's. GMCU-15 and GMU-15 are probably obsolete by now as I have seen many of them being dismentled.

yes DPU Chinese Beast but only engine machine build Or licensing from USA & Many GMU & GMCU 15s work now days specially branch lines of multan, peshawar OR malakwal divsion

Well, NLC isn't an altogether separate class of locomotives. They are, in fact, GMU-30 locomotives of 47XX series repainted probably in 2014 for NLC and given new 74XX series.

Vivek I don't think so. We have enough firepower. What we need is upgraded railway tracks to support high speed trains. The locomotives are good enough to clock 150kph on main line Lahore to Karachi.

We have 29 BCU-30 locomotives but all of them are parked due to electricity crises and Railways is removing overhead electric wirings from railway tracks. Looks like they won't come back to service again. Sigh......

I am sure no. We are 210 million people living here, its not a joke. Its peaceful enough to live. Yes, we had our bad times but things have now improved tremendously and is still improving. For you Indians, I would advise please don't get driven away by Indian media reporting, you guys also raise questions in their credibility. Even in the latest terror attacks in SriLanka, your media knew, even minutes after, who were the bombers and where were the perpetrators. Oh come on you sensible people. As a matter of fact, anti-Pakistan rheotic serves as a huge electoral vote getter and also instills a sense of nationalism in you people. So, you got to understand what politicians do. They simply exploit it. Even you would acknowledge how BJP exploited recent dogfight in their election campaign. Wherever your prime minister goes, he keeps on challenging Pakistan openly followed by the roar of clap from the audience. Doesn't it tells you the inside story? On the other hand, our politicians don't carry anti-India propaganda as part of their election campaign. The part which Imran Khan played in the recent escalation was true statesmanship. Don't say we were afraid of your army, we were not and we demonstrated by downing your aircraft and capturing Abhi. But still, we understand war is not a solution. We must sit and work out ways to solve our issues. That's the only way out. Isn't it? As far as the Kashmir issue goes, turning a blind eye to it doesn't make it a non-issue. Blaming Pakistan for whatever happens in Kashmir has some benefits: 1) You get an escape goat. 2) You get public support as soon as you blame Pakistan. 3) You can cover up your intelligence and security failures. We suffered from worst terrorism in the history of mankind, you can't understand how it was like since you haven't watched those scenes and I pray no one should see them. People losing their body parts, pieces of human flash hanging on the trees, people being slaughtered...... it was unexplainably horrible...... How many times did we blame India for it? Even after catching Kulbhoshan? We understand whoever crosses the border into Pakistan, it is our security laps and we need to plug those holes instead of start blaming others. I pray for everlasting peace between India and Pakistan. I wish Indian people peaceful and happy life. Love you all. Pakistan and India both Zindabad.
