I think 50 years is an exaggeration you could say 15-20 years. This is all about when Pakistan and India got independence the share of wealth was not equal. When Pakistan got independence, Pakistan had one big factory on the other side India had about 100 big factories so there is no comparison.

This is fascinating. I remember till not 15yrs ago, this could be a typical Indian village too. Mitti k ghar, chulhe, lakdi k mote darwaze/khidkiyan, lack of bijli k taar ka jaal, mitti/eint ki sadak (kharanja as they called it) , no motor traffic. And large hearted people. Heck my small village in the heart of Awadh on banks of Yamuna was one such. Now all of it is mostly gone..except the large heartedness of people. The rapid transformation of our villages is visible only when seen in such context. I don't know if it is for the better or worse tho. This lifestyle had its own charm...

Absolutely right. Both countries share so much common and as somebody from deep south of India I am baffled why there is so much enmity between us.There should be more visits and contacts among people from both the countries so that one can get to know each other better.Soon every one will realise that we are all the same kept artificially divided.

I live 10 km away from this village on Indian Side n I don't feel any difference not even a bit between the villages of my area Punjab n that of Pakistan , the difference we see is that the Pakistan seems like lagging 30 years behind India .

Bro 95 percent villages in Pakistan have pakka houses ,have toilets,and carpeted roads,schools,basic health facilities,gas pipeline and 4g internet and wifi connection so there is no difference in indian village and Pakistani villages

I'm watching from India state of former Indian cricket captain Mr cool Ms Dhoni, I'm also living in village right now, but this kind of model of village is not mine, this kind of things has been ended in my village 20 year ago, mostly my village going to look like small town, that's why we are deprived of the originality of village, after watching this I memorized my 20 year ago village, love you 💕💕💕

This is the place where my grandfather was born. he was talking all his life about his village. he would be happy to see his village now but unfortunately.......we have been living now just close to the border of Charda Punjab And people around used to call us Sadowaliye.

Village life in most of India and Pakistan is similar in many ways, particularly in border areas. I love this life so much !
