Indian audience does not appreciate Indian movies... Its just ' Ghar ki murgi daal barabar types'... They will compare Brahmastra with Marvel... Kalki with Dune and now Kill with John Wick... This is the colonial mentality we must escape... without knowing the history we just make us inferior... Kill is inspired from a real incident... of a soldier killing 40 robbers in a train... Indian Action hand to hand has been upgraded a lot. We need movies like Sanak, Kill, Baaghi, Commando, Monkey man, Yodhha, Fighter, Attack, Force etc. One thing for sure. Average indian mindset now a days is set to compare like "Sharma ji ke bete ke jyada marks aaye but tere kyu nehi?" So according to it comparison makes anything better. So Dune, JohnWick etc is coming in talk. We need the extract and be creative with their ideas.
