in case of Fastag the vehicle has to stop until the radar reads the Fastag where as this is the next level technology, a special camera (for capturing fast moving object) would be installed to capture the number plate of the vehicle and image processor would recognise the number and would deduct from Fastag account. No need of Fastag now. I think this is going to be the pilot project for such system.

All toll roads in the US have open road tolling. There are no toll booths except for one booth on the side where you can pay cash/credit, but it costs twice the normal toll.

Fastag is going to be past soon, that’s the reason Govt had made Indian number plates standard, the embossed numbers are prominent to recognise through image processing. Govt had designed the standard number plates keeping the image processing factor in mind.
Open road tolling system is more faster in operation than fastag

No, two wheelers aren’t allowed here also like Bandra - Worli sea link, because of : 1: Speed (vehicles have to maintain certain speed on such height, a two wheeler can’t). 2 : It’s very windy once you enter such bridges, a regular two wheeler will easily loose it’s control. I’m not sure of special permission being given to sports bikes for shooting purposes, if any.
Bike to pichli vali sea link pe bhi allowed nhi hai. Toh yha bhi allow nhi hoga. Edit- please jyada videos banaya karo ❤

This is going to be a game changer for us Mumbaikars as Navi Mumbai could be reached in just 20 minutes from central Mumbai. The nearby tourist destinations are also closer now. Now we are waiting for Coastal road from south tip of Mumbai to north, parallel to Arabian sea coastline. That is also under construction

No bike ,No 3 wheelers,only 4 + wheelers speed is 100 km per hour, 3 hr journey converted into 20 minutes
2 wheelers will not be allowed on it if I'm not mistaken.

Toll on this road - 1.5 lakh per year per car if you go daily
In India if your vehicle has no Fastag, then you have to pay double the toll fee.

Like in the US. Open road tolling is everywhere and nobody stops to pay toll. It is fully automated.
yeh satellite enabled toll system.not fastag. different
For Fastag vehicle has to stop for a few seconds but for this new system vehicle need not to be stopped....camera will take pictures and toll will be deducted automatically while vehicle is on the move. Stoping of vehicle is not required even for 1 second, this is next level of digitisation happening here
Heavy bikes usually allow hoti hain expressways par so maybe here also

Fast tag is outdated, now satellite linked toll are enabling through out India and will start by year end where toll will be collected as per your journeys and every vehicle has to be linked with satellite linked systems..
In south Mumbai even three wheeler also not allowed ,
Auto toll hai sabhi jagah recharge karna padta hai nahi karoge to dubbal toll bharna padta hai hamare India me
India mai har bridge pe two wheeler allowed hai but uske liye bridge ke side se ek alag chota sa , link hota hai footpath jaisa or mark hota hai us mark ke andar se chalna hota hai

@@vishal.yadav760 Speed is min 100 kmph. Even Bandra- Worli sea link par bhi bikes allowed nahi hai. Bikes allow kiye na to unka hi no. jada hota hai n they are most indisciplined riders.
