you guys will never know how hard a civil service interview can be ! very hard, people get rejected after hours and years of practice , I heance respect all officers I know and I see, they are one of the kind

We should know what exactly they are looking for

IAS are the backbone of the nation along with IPS , IRS , they make sure that the country runs logically . They are the tools of the Ministers , and hence have to be sharp and diplomatic .

Ias written exam is tough. Then interview is bit easy compared to written exam. But it's tougher interview, than what's shown in web series

Body language to lead is very important , the ability to take quick, precise decisions and the ability to control tough situations which arise from time to time will also be judged.

I attended 4 times, yes consecutive 4 years from 1994 to 1997. But couldn't get success. 💔💔 -chandrakant Kapadia from Green City Gandhinagar

If this is difficult, try USMLE for physisicans to enter USA. This is a exam given the world over. Also, there is an exam in China that is a lot tougher.

I beg to differ. I would say, India is running (without falling apart like what you see in other developing countries) because of our efficient civil servants not because of the corrupt politicians who are ruling us. Civil Servants are basically cream of talent of our society and are talented. They know the importance of hard work and the pain of being a middle class or lower middle class person in India. Although some may fall prey to our political system and become slaves to MLAs and Ministers, not everyone.

jo corrupt nahi hota unka politician transfer karwate rahte hai

1000000 students me se only 500 to 700 hi UPSC clear kar sakte hai. It's so so difficult.

Upsc me 10 exams hote hai wo sab clear hone ke baad interview tak phuchta hai insan .Mane prelims clear Kiya huaa hai .interview tak to phonchna bohot badi baat hai iman ji

Cannot imagine how difficult these interviews are, when job interviews for leadership positions are only so draining

I would suggest you to watch "Drishti IAS" Mock Interviews. Real Interviews ka thoda Andaaza Ajayega.
