It's great tbh That's when Moose is at his best imo. He can give off cynical, sarcastic quips in a mostly lighthearted way that doesn't make the audience dwell too much on the implications. He's really good at that brand of humor.

I've probably been watching Brutalmoose for about seven years now, and I have to say, this review may just be the quintessential Brutalmoose experience. Though perhaps not as grand as Televoid or food ranking videos, it serves as a beautiful combination of old and new. The editing and visual absurdity of modern Brutalmoose is merited beautifully with the ovcasionally edgy, cynical, jokes that I think was the hallmark of its channel in the early days. Combined with the relatively grounded nature of Ian's narration that I think has been present throughout, it really is a surreal experience to say the least.

4:43 You might be surprised to know they were actually planning to make a fifth Pajama Sam game. According to several sources and a few pieces of concept art, the story was gonna take place on a toy store and all toys come to life. Of course, it got cancelled for obvious reasons.

At this point I can't tell if Sentient Hello Fresh Box Ian is my favorite or least favorite recuring character in the brutalmoose expanded universe but I'm terrified of him either way.

I love the idea of putting the early Cynical Ian Brand into the GamerGuy1991 persona to preserve the appeal of that old style while still leaving room for 2020s Ian to change things up as needed. Whether this is meant to be the return of game reviews on the channel in general, or just a one-off trip down memory lane, it's really fun either way!

Seeing an actual game review is a breath of fresh air. Props to Ian for branching out and doing new things. I do like those Mystery Tapes videos. But a game review is something that has been missing for a while. Hopefully there's more to come

Your ads are seriously the only ones I stick around to the end of the video for. It's so impressive to see how you're able to make an ad for a company so entrancing and creepy at the same time. Truly one of man's marvels... Also, game reviews are back? If so, awesome! I would love to see how you will continue these kinds of reviews in the retro-fitted style you've seamlessly encompassed in your videos! Excellent work, as always!

Ian does the most effective, entertaining sponsorship segments. I can never look away. Hilarious.

Haven't seen anyone comment about it, but I dig the opening "coming up next" bumper, really "on brand" with the whole analogue nostalgia aesthetic the channel's taken on. The attention to detail with the audio distortion and muffling as if it's an aged VHS recording was neat.

Thank you Ian, for that reminder that I have an empty hello fresh box sitting on my floor that will be taken out immediately because I don’t need that devil in my house.

I remember getting this game from a Scholastic book fair catalog and BARELY playing it. What a horror show. Thank you for the review, sorry you experienced it! This takes me back to the days of packing up my sophomore college dorm room the night before move-out back in 2015 (oh no that was 7 years ago), where I just put on the playlist of all of Ian's video game videos and watched them all night long while I packed. Good times, good times.

Couldn’t tell you how happy I was to see this in my feed! I was surprised you had such issues with lag. I’ve played Pajama Sam on a number of computers over the years and have never had an issue. Playing without the lag might have improved the experience… but this is still by far the weakest of the games, mainly due to losing Pamela Adlon as the voice of Sam and every playthrough being exactly the same.

Never thought I'd see the day THIS would happen. Anyway, this is a fair review. Personally I liked the game, though it's hard to deny its shortcomings compared to previous entries, ESPECIALLY in the Voice Acting department (weirdly enough, I do not remember it being laggy on My PC... Maybe it's because I played the Steam version, I dunno) Also I always found it odd that skipping cutscenes was the Enter key rather than the usual Esc.

You're getting reallll weird with it, my dude, and I am 100% here for it.

Per usual, your commitment to the bit is phenomenal

This has been on my watch later list since it was uploaded. Finally getting around to watching it!

I can't think of another channel with as varied content as BrutalMoose that pulls it off with the same level of quality, charm, humour, and polish every time.

I actually love the VA for the forth game it really sounds like my nephew is in the room with me XD such voices is why I like ASMR haha
