i have a black 22 inch colorsound 5 ride. still going hard the paint is rubbing off in quite a few places. but very very good sounding ride. was extremely surprised to find out it was made in the 80s.

sweet collection, I am probably gonna get the new 2018 black set of hats, 18 crash and 20 ride to go with my black Mapex shells and hardware

I dont know how you can own those incredible cymbals and not play them, id have to........my brain is about to explode knowing they exist and are not being used O.o

I'm going to go out on a limb and assume a guy like this has top of the line cymbals on his kit. Color sound's are amazing cymbals, but you have to be honest with your self that most of their value comes from aesthetics

Paiste has a new colored cymbal process. Don't know if they will take it to market. Maybe just something for their endorsers. Not sure yet.

omg,!!! I need that 2000 Colorsound Bell. 2000 are hands-down my FAVORITE line, and I've never known them to have made a "Bell" model. What's that you say, you'd like to sell it to me! Excellent!!

Nice collection man. These cymbals look so great when they're in perfect condition. I've got a red set with 3 crashes, 1 power crash, splash, hats, ride, and china. But since I play mine regularly, they don't look nearly that good.

Those are awesome dude, I always loves these cymbals! The only color sounds I have are jacket pins that are real miniature PAISTE color sound cymbals and I can't remember what colors they are but I think they are green , red and possibly black.

Great collection!! You had mentioned at the end of your video that you are selling stuff off. If it comes time that you sell any Colorsounds, please let me know.

Treat them like a painted surface. Soap and water, I guess you could use ultra fine rubbing compound if there is a lot of stick marks. Can wax also.

Our high school recently acquired a pair of 16'' 500 Series Hand cymbals and 18'' 900 Series Multi-Purpose. Are these rare cymbals, and is it okay to use Groove Juice on Colorsounds?

If you ever see another colorsound 5 20" power crash ,.......I will take it ! Even looking for a 2000 now ,...been looking almost four years now ,....I'm stacking paiste like ALBUMS !!!

I don't think there's any diff in manufacturing except for the logo. The regular 2000's did not have that random lathe marks only the 2002's and color sound. You know how they change the series and stuff more for marketing. Thanks

You can have black or blue Paiste cymbals, not other colours.

redbaron2448 OK I just meant Paiste only makes black or blue colored cymbals nowadays. Colour sound series were made in the eighties. :)

1000 series are super rare versions.

2000 are very first, early made , limited....all are super ...

Nathan Kuretsch That was my thought as well. Kind of silly to just whack them with your hand once in a while and leave in a box. Play the isht out of them!

With my salary, I can only collect bottle caps.

They probably are rare. I would treat them like any painted surface

Color cymbals.are two kind , of series, 2002 and 900...! Color will be , green, blue, red, orange, black, and white 's , may be.some more great color .. rides , crashes are 20 inches ...18 inches of crashes, good.big , large cymbals, are heavy. So ...lady's......love me.or not ?
