"In Europe", it was awarded several years in that very "top zoo award" position. However, worldwide it has only one other competitor, which is Disney Animal Kingdom (WDW Orlando). Pairi Daiza is just outperforming "DAK" in every possible way, nowadays. "DAK", became inferiour to this Belgian Animal theme park, without even being aware if it.
