PAIRD - Feature Length Lego Film

Фильм және анимация

In 2011 at the age of 12 years old, I started shooting and uploading a Lego stop motion film in pieces. The goal was to make the film in 10 parts and release it as a whole once it was finished. That film ended up taking 8 years to complete, and now at the age of 20 it's finally done. This is PAIRD, the way it was meant to be seen.

I just literally just watched all this film, I can’t explain how amazing this is. I have recognized the effort and dedication of this film. And you know what, it’s one of my favorite if not my favorite LEGO StopMotion video I have watched. The characters, story, personality in the film and creativity was something else. The set design was also something incredible. I also saw the amazing improvement in animation throughout the whole film. This film had such an interesting storyline and plus the addition of all the amazing aspects I mentioned before made me enjoy this LEGO brickfilm to the fullest. Another thing Was the character development with George and craig. It was amazing. The ending was very amazing and I was very hyped to get to that point of the film. And let me tell you this.... I was not disappointed. I really do hope this gets more views, recognition and support. You deserve 10 million or more views man. Excellent work 👍🏻

@@JosephDeRose , here are my two bits on the film...the film honestly could have used another hour getting more coherence with the plot. I do not want things to be super predictable and unoriginal, like, say, the script for the JRPG that is called Rogue Galaxy, but I also want things to make sense and, in some areas, the film does not make sense. I can overlook the limited sound effects, some casting choices, and the limited amount of LEGO with making your set pieces, but one thing that I cannot overlook is the ending of the film. I have heard morons that spout out things like that whole Zero Growth Population Movement, as well as The Georgia Guidestones, The United Nations Agenda 21 Plan, The One Child Policy in the People's Republic of China, and other related things and, at the end of the day, people are pretending to do the human race good by slaughtering people. However, what those evil hypocrites conveniently omit to everyone is that culling off humankind by being so callous, let alone especially doing that to innocent people, is the kind of thing that evil Luciferian globalist elites do to humanity and, moreover, the people that keep talking about humanity taking up too many resources, too much room, causing too much war, and other wrong claims are, ironically enough, the ones that are actually championing the causes that they are pretending to fight against in their lives. The last time that I heard, if all of humanity was gathered in a single location, as well as given a two foot area to stand, then they would only occupy an area that would be equivalent to the size of a medium metropolitan area, like, say, Memphis, Tennessee, USA, or Jacksonville, Florida, USA. Now does THAT sound like overcrowding to you? The harsh reality is that these evil liars just want to manipulate, as well as take, everything and give it to themselves and to let themselves rule this planet uncontested, but the old adage still remains true, and that adage says, "Honor among thieves is none at all", and once these evil servants of Satan go through their plans, then they will turn on each other, just like zombies going after the freshest of their own when all of the living humans are dead, and, like the mythical Ourobouros snake, they will eventually, as well as inevitably, consume themselves out of existence. Finally, whether you believe, let alone accept, that harsh truth, that undeniable fact, and that brutal reality, is, for all accounts, irrelevant, but this is indeed the truth, regardless of whether you like it or not in your life. I would also like to have this movie have the changes that I made, get some additional people, and to remake this film in a live action, big budget movie. The truth of the Holy Scriptures also needs to be told in it, that is, truly from the perspective of YAHWEH EL ELOHIM.

There’s the animation problems and maybe pacing problems but other than those this was so awesome, the dedication to this project is actually unbelievable and everyone knows that, I can’t imagine putting myself into a 8 year project like that, I can animate for a long time but jeez man this long you were 12 and now up your like in college, that’s amazing dude honestly, most people would’ve stopped or given up by now but you didn’t and I have to applaud you for that 👏🏼 also the story man was pretty engaging at least for me, like this whole idea of 2 men trying to make a difference but then had to sacrifice there memories and ended up clueless and having to get right back to were they started is so good man! Along with the action scenes there was a lot of good shots and moments that looked really good, you could’ve tried to fix the set moving parts and the flickering lights (which I completely understand on how hard that is to do and why it’s annoying) but I digress, I’m really happy for you bro that you were able to get this out and I can tell this was something that grew into a big part of your life, good job man on this one 👍🏼

Spoiler-Free Review from a regular dude. I thoroughly ENJOYED the film from start to finish. The pacing of the story got me hooked in between the action sequences. The plot and dialogue feels smart and believeable. Cinematography, lighting, sound and music are tastefully done. And the glorious amount of details put into the sets and props are seriously mind blowing, especially after I found out this is a two-man effort to build and animate + post poduction. Kudos to ur voice talents - imo they personified the characters' emotions and sold the atmosphere. I kept hoping the ending would be good and I am NOT disappointed. Its EPIC. You guys set the bar high with this. Thank you for the enjoyable ride. Keep doing what you do. All the best in your future endeavours.

I can not describe how I am feeling about this although I know that it’s a good feeling.

Just wanted to let you know that my wife and I had 2 of my siblings over and we made a movie night of this together (staying six feet apart). This was excellent, the story was tightly written and OMG the set and prop design! The amount of work you put into this is truly breathtaking! Amazing work, thank you for contributing this to the world. P.S. I found your page from the documentary on the USC student team putting a rocket past the Karman line. Also an excellently done film.

It looks like you have taken some simple go-pro type camera and made this fantastic flick. You should submit it any film fest. The work alone will blow them away. I love everything you have here.
