Oh, WOW!!! This is great!!! THANK YOU so much for teaching us this technique! I would never have figured this out by myself! You are too KIND! I usually make pastel colors for my journals. But I love these bright colors. I need some alcohol markers in bright colors. I think you're right about markers being the key! And the doodling too. I love how you used white AND black that way. It makes a big difference. I can't wait to make these. They do make perfect ATCs!!! I've never made an ATC before. So I'm excited about that! Thank you again for sharing this with us!! I really appreciate this video. I've made some papers with the paint squishing method and was a bit disappointed with the muddy results, I had no idea I could improve the color like this! I would love to see a video about your stamps.

Love your painty papers. Would love to see how you made your stamps. I don't have acrylic paints and I have done this with watercolour paints. It wasn't too bad but it obviously wasn't as bright and vibrant as your papers. Loved this video as usual.

Wow this is absolutely so cool. I cant wait to try this process. I just wonder....you enjoyed this so much have you ever tried a gelli plate? You can achieve similar papers to these good for making backgrounds then adding the mark making on top. Also can do image transfers. It is an addiction though 😂

Hey nicole, been a long time since id say hi, did u know u have a little friend on youtube who loves everything you do? her name is pink kitty she's really nice and friendly to talk to, she also does magazine collage book :) Thank you for your videos and showing new things. just curious, have you ever watched pam the paper outpost? you might love some of the things she does too :) I hope your day is good, every time i see a cute pug around it reminds me of you. just curious sometimes when i go through my magazines and see a pug picture, id would like to send them to you, or elephants, i have a bunch of horse pictures too from horse ilatrusted and farming stuff too, i had gotten three big boxes of just those a long time ago and still going through them. would you like some to send to others?

I made such a mish mash of colors and put so much paint on I did 3 12x12 sheets at same time! Ai yi yi! But after drying and doodling, they were beautiful! I hardly want to cut them. Thx again for showing steps.

Loved this idea but…I have gone to three Dollar Trees, Michaels and two Joanne’s and can’t find those cake decorating things! I have been thinking of using a piece of cardboard. Ideas?

@@5421nancy That’s the logical place to look! I’ve also seen them in the food area where cake mixes are. My Dollar Tree has them with party supplies🤷🏼‍♀️ It’s a little section of cake decorating items.

Nancy, you could use a "pik" comb, one of the small"smoothers"--what Nicole uses to smooth out her gluing papers sometimes. Both at $Tree. Just move them every which way. Hope that helps.

That’s totally up to you❤️ If I’m making them to put in a journal, I always paint both sides. I do all the front of the papers, let them dry, & then paint the backside. So fun!❤️

I think it’s all personal preference ❤️ I usually use acrylic paint or water colors. Acrylic is inexpensive and dries fast. That’s my go to🎨
