Were they good? I wanna get a good set of brushes. All the ones I’ve been using end up getting bristles in my canvases because of bad quality so then, I proceed to need to pick them out and then I need to repaint it. Please get back to me!

Ugh they are sold out! I’m a beginner with painting, but I know beautiful things when I see them and I just want them because of how cute the packaging looks and how wonderful they are! I know one day I’ll put them to great use when I am better at what I do. Practice makes perfect right? And the price is on point. Which is hard to come by now days. Especially for the quality! I use to work at an Art store and the cost of one brush would make you sick! But for all these brushes and their quality. Well worth it. :) You are a beautiful artist by the way. I adore all your work!

What I've personally learned is that you can shade lighter skin with a lavender/light purple sort of color. I'm sort of a noob though, so that's about all I've collected, spare the brushstroke direction sort of stuff.

@@LuNa_097 yeah, finding good combos is def important. I had to go through a lot of trial to find out that the sort of "tan-ish" color in my palette didn't really look like a realistic skin color, but mixing it with a white or light brown made it look more accurate.

i think layering your colors a lot and making shadows with other colors can help you out. for me when i’m painting skin & i want to create a deeper tone for shadowing, i’ll add in some purples and browns to make it more seamless. I wouldn’t use black that much because it can make it look washed out and not very vibrant but a little goes a long way. also when you paint on those shadows, use the lighter shade you created to blend them out and create less harsh lines. but wait a bit when you do that so the lighter tone doesn’t spill into the darker tone! that’s pretty much the basis for watercolors, shadowing and layering.

Never mind the brushes, your art style is amazing lol

my eyes can’t stand this lovely art

Some of you kinda forget that some watercolors are really good quality and can look like that. Not only Winsor and Newton but most of the handmade watecolors can be so vibrant and opaque!
