I was actually surprised and started laughing a little. And then she said "keep crying" I started laughing even more. As someone who appreciates rainbow, but also loves "darker" art asthetics, I think you did a pretty good job with going out of your comfort zone. Plus she does look like a moody teen. I like to think of Moody as the sister to that other squirrel character you made (the one who likes rainbows) and she's going through her Gothic phase. She originally dyed her fur pitch black and realized she didn't want to go full goth so she re-dyed it to a warmer brown with the help of her sister. She's still figuring out what she likes and how to express herself and that's why her outfit isn't very detailed

I feel like the character, while not traditionally dark and moody, really works in her world. Like if all her characters were in a world, this squirrel is the dark and moody one. the squirrel looks amazing regardless 🩶

I started watching Moriah's videos at the beginning of year 5, I was 10 years old and since then I've waited every Saturday (Timezones haha) to watch her videos. Today I'm in year 10 and 16 years old, I'm graduating highschool this April and I'll be giving IGCSE exam on 'Art and Design' which is a subject i chose primarily inspired by Moriah. OMG THE SQUIRREL IS SO CUTE I LITERALLY LOVE HER! Also as someone who suppose that most of the art that I enjoy it is on the angsty side (idk how to phrase that) seeing Mariah struggle was amusing since i struggle to make stories or characters that aren't drowning in angst!

I have to say for KZread merch Moriah always give out the best quality and most unique products I've ever seen. KZread has a bad rep for for merch like plain Jane t-shirts or socks or something. but I feel like the bags are so nice, kinda remind me of fly lounge bags quality (like the Disney mini backpacks you see). love them and love you Moriah💗

The space buns she decided not to use really reminded me of that memorable human squishy. The properly named "face of failure".

You should make a video of you painting squishies on a squishy! It would look soooooo cute! You can admire all of the squishies you put on it by only having to look at 1 squishy instead of a whole collection!

The freckles on the sketch was so cute, not sure if it would have been as cute on the sculpture but I definitely liked it on the sketch.

As a fan, I feel like it's kind of our job to take her SLIGHTY (important word here for those who obsess & pressure) out of her comfort zone to see her art blossom & really see how varied her skills can be, or to assist her in learning a new skill. Like a few years ago Mariah couldn't sculpt & absolutely hated it, now she still slightly hates it but is creating amazing things.

I really like the look of Moody and I think she fits the description well. I feel like the one thing that is missing is depth on her scarf, like some blending to make it look like a scarf or a simple design

Joanne Rowling is a terf and a terrible person who created a terrible series and it's disgusting to think that someone would put that transphobia and antisemitism on a squirrel. I really hope that wasn't moriahs intention because if it is, although I love her content, I'm unsubscribing. I would love to see you do something really dark and twisted! Just something really outside of your comfort zone!

I personally love Moody. Although it might be a simple design, I can see a lot of details that make her moody. Since she’s wearing a scarf, maybe she’s grumpy/moody because it’s cold out, or maybe she lost her favorite acorn. Maybe she’s just generally MOODY.

I love Moriah’s bright happy rainbow vibe and I myself prefer color, however, I want to watch Moriah attempt to make a goth character squishy just because it’s not her thing and would be fun to watch 😂

Brown is a darker tone of orange so I feel it's still valid in the rules you set. Also I love that moody is the dark and moody and it's like she wears bright colors to feel better

A squishy environment in black-and-white that has to be cute would honestly be kind of cute

While the colors you picked are pretty, they make me think of a sunset, I think that pretty much _all_ of those color swatches were rather bright. Not really our fault... but it checks out that that was what you'd choose for random selection even given such a mood prompt XD As for adding brown, we can pretend that it's a shade of that orange.

When you have such a defined aesthetic, people often want to see you branch out and do something DIFFERENT.

Those people don't have to watch her content then. We need to get out of this mindset that content creators have to give in to what their watchers want, rather then what they as a creator want to do. You know what that causes? Burn out. She'll get bored and tired of having to make content for us because people are so desperate to see her "branch out and do something different" that she'll eventually lose interest in creating content in general and decide to retire from it. Either watch her for the content she's known for, or move on. It's so annoying people think they're entitled enough to demand something different from a creator who the rest of us are perfectly content with their content.

Those new merch bags look so nice and high quality 👀 she really goes above and beyond with the effort she puts in and the designs it’s a perfect balance of pattern and color

I like her alot ! Thought if i made it. I would get inspire that creepy cute, gothic style. Like, maybe cute lil skulls, halloweeny things, maybe maker her more scraggly tim burton esque style. With the glasses and scarf she does have witchy vibe. Maybe like, give her a witch hat, and turn the brownish black to purple black. Im just throwing what i thought in the video.

MORIAH! You should customize beds for your daughters! If not beds maybe clothes, or a doll house, or stuffed animals or maybe even blankets? But you could make it themed some of your characters like one of the girls could have a pickle themed set, and the other would have a Georgie themed set or another character.
