As a former automotive painter, I freaked out when a saw the tape on the fresh paint after the windshield was installed. The paint looked so good i hope the tape didn't screw it up

Well if you knew the timelines of when everything was done it might help you understand better, also when painting he could have used a higher grade hardener than what was required for the paint. Something like an 8989 would have that paint hard enough to handle in about 45 minutes and in an hour or 2 it’s completely dry and ready to install and drive

Bob should be featured more often on the channel. Glad the color came out perfect

oh yeahhh some rims, window splash guards, carbon bits and that evo is perfection!

Bobbi's dad is oldskool and a SAVAGE! Great guy!.. My dad has never painted with a mask on in his life.. And I really love the greenish tint the flake gives the black.. Its soooo cool!

Gotta respect down to Earth blue collar guys like Bob. Awesome that you have him teaching you some tricks of the trade. He seems like a nice humble guy.

I’ve had a detailing shop, and a customer brought a 38. Buick in, with a deep piano shellac Uber Black, I’ve never seen. I prepped this car for Amelia Island …l it was the deepest black and the clear coat was like a layer of glass. This Evo of hers is much like that Buick was….. priceless! Can’t wait to see the finish car!
