Having the colour indicated when you're going to the palette is super helpful! I think that's the first time I've seen that in a video on KZread. Even though my palette is different, it gives me some insight to your thought process. Well done video all round, thanks a bunch!

I think you're the best watercolour tutor online and I've watched quite a few!! Reasons? You are a top watercolour artist, you explain everthing you're doing and thinking all the time, you show what's happening in your palette, you have a great northern irish brogue which is a pleasure to listen to, and finally you have a nice sense of humour.

Thank you Grahme! I needed this. I mean I literally needed this. Something has been off about my paintings. This showed me what is was. Loosing too much light. Treating edges wrongly. There is so very much of value in this tutorial for me. Tis little wonder you have become one of my favorite artist on a short list of artists. Thanks very much.

That was a super demo! I loved the looseness of it all and the way you kept the beautiful transparency allowing the base colours to shine through. One very useful tip for me was don’t use a dry brush for darkening your colours, use more paint in the water. I loved the outcome. It was a beautiful painting and I love Belfast despite the rain! Thank you.

You can get them on rosemaryandco.com. They could possibly confirm identify as well. Get out those paints and get painting before the inspiration wears off 😂 You'll be glad you did. There's a whole new world available now to learn online. KZread, Patreon, Domestika, etc.

Hello Grahame, Any chance that you might consider setting up a subscription based website? I’m thinking along the lines of Billy Showell. I dare say that there are other artists doing something like that (mostly via Patreon), but there is no one with you skill, easy way of teaching and style. No one wants to learn from an artist unless they really admire the way they paint, and it’s clear from all the comments on your KZread tutorials that there are loads of others like me who feel the same way. There’s a huge gap in the market just waiting for you to fill it. Best wishes Genevieve
