Painting Beach Huts like Winslow Homer - How to Draw Places

Continuing our series on how to draw places, let's go to the beach! In this lesson, we use Winslow Homer's Native Huts, Nassau as a reference. We focus on the process of layering our watercolor paints. We start with base colors, and continue to add texture and detail with further color layers.
