Man, we had a KC 135A in my bomb wing. Anti corrosion paint EVERYWHERE ! Looked kind of like this, 'cept it was all spots instead of panel separation lines. Last four of the serial number was 0311, so normally, since USAF aircraft are generally called by the last two serial numbers, it should have been called "311", but, we called it "spot" It finally got a nice semi gloss grey paint job at depot. Looked like a brand new acft.

Just bought the DVD - hope it is good :)

I bought this material and recommend it because I painted an A-7 Cosair Hasegawa 1/48 and it was perfect with this realistic navy painting technique. It would be interesting a video explaining how to paint the deck of an aircraft carrier deck with all that dirt and wear.

When I purchased the videos in 2013, he was out of the DVDs. He emailed me attachments of the videos and gave me a $10 discount. The videos are of very high quality, and I highly recommend them. There’s just a few grammatical errors in the slides because it was translated into English, but his instructions are still clear. I’m sorry to hear he’s not responding right now. Keep emailing him!

Good job man. You're style is similar to mine. Nicely toning down the decals on a authentically weathered aircraft, too many times do I see people leaving the decals bright and bold and it does not look authentic. I also use a pencil eraser to lighten panels instead of adding white paint as this gives the paint too much body in my opinion!

The best... I wish I could do that with my RC Bell AH-1 Cobra

I bought it the problem is he's just showing the video with subtitles on what he's doing...I wish he was talking and explaining what he's doing..but overall u get to Enjoy watching and learn his technique

I purchased the videos in 2013, and I believe they may be the best instructions available for this type of modeling. The artist is Italian, and therefore the instructions are translated into English via slides at every step. There are over 3 hours worth of video covering painting, weathering, washes and decals; not assembly. For those of you living in the United States, who may not be able to get Mr. Hobby Aqua Colors, I recommend substituting AK Interactive. They mix with Tamiya quite well, and work with the thinning ratios of the videos. This presentation is as thorough as it gets, and I highly recommend it for painting F-14s and F-18s. 👍

probably as an abrasive to produce fine scratches in the paint

Adds an asymmetrical weathering effect. that can replicate the ravages of salty air on aircraft paint/metal surfaces.

most enamel paint brands offer clear paints. Humbrol is a good place to start
