Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

In today's acrylic landscape painting tutorial we paint a snowy winter path with a warm sun set in behind the trees. This relaxing painting tutorial is completed for the most part in real time and will cover the step by step process of how to paint snow, ice, reflections of light, trees, sunsets, big clouds, snow covered trees and a beautiful pathway in a little winter wonderland.

Beautiful and warm painting! Thanks so much for sharing. I’m a pastelist and was challenged to paint a recent snowy sunlit pastel painting I did larger. So since it would be impossible to make a pastel painting larger and still affordable to frame, I thought I’d try acrylic paint! I’ve only ever done “crafts” with acrylics and, man, am I way out of my pay grade!! This has really helped me with many techniques that I had no idea of with acrylics! I have so much to learn. I will be following you as you’re a great teacher and demonstrator! So much to learn!! Thank you!

What I really took away from this painting is that…it really is a work in progress, sometimes I look at mine early on and get bummed out quickly …you have taught me that it’s a process…and it’s ok to Go Back and rework it…I would have walked away and started over… on mine, I like how you keep going at it until you work it to the way you want it. Perseverance

This makes me think of those perfect warm winter days that are awesome to go snowboarding the whole day, and end it at sunset with some grilling around a nice fire....oh how I miss that....got a back injury 2 years ago, so no slopes for quite some time, living on those sweet memories for now :) and I truly get that feeling from this painting! 💜

Ryan, thank you for your encouraging words regarding the paintings looking “messy” at the first stages. You may have saved my current painting as well as all my painting supplies from the trash heap! I’ve started one with clouds similar to these, and it is a hot mess right now! I will go back and keep trying. I’ve only been painting for a year, and it can be quite intimidating.

To create a cold (even almost hostile) atmosphere yet allow for a warm sunset to both contrast but ultimately blend ALL IN ONE PAINTING takes such a creative vision and rad skills to pull off! I've finished three of your paintings so far (the sailboat, the beachfront bonfire, and this), and consistently, the same degree of artistry has been exhibited. I hope with a few more paiting tutorials, I can jump back into my groove and start painting again.
