The problem with such artists is that everything seems to be fine, but when you compare their paintings with representatives of a real school of painting like Shishkin or Monsted, you see that today's artists neglect the size of strokes depending on the distance. For example, your highlights on the water in the foreground are the same size as those in the background. Also, you have the same size and definition of the foliage brushstrokes on the background trees as those in the foreground. But real artists, when they paint different plans, they not only change the color in accordance with the principles of light-air perspective, but also work with the size of the strokes too, i.e. with touch, with processing of details at different distances. And today's artists produce an equally meticulously painted beautiful postcard. But with real artists, the picture looks more real precisely because of the principles that I described. And at the same time, their work is absolutely as detailed as this one. Sorry, but true. And you are not alone about that. So don't worry :). Just develop the understanding of realistic painting.

@@SeeliaVachon "The real" is such thing. There are real doctors, real soccer players, real teachers, real businessmen and so on. And there are also unreal ones that do the same profession. Every thing needs its knowledge. I understand that you mean Munch or Malevich. It is art also. But they paint in other style and do it well within that style. I don´t like them and don¨t think they are artists at all, but they do their job well within that idiotic style that I don't count as art. But when you work with realistic style, it needs that knowledge I have described.
