Thank you Jerry! I also have to practice some restraint now with the printing and finish all the projects that are laying around.

Wow you really captured, not only the Penguin, but Danny as well. I had no idea so much could go wrong with 3d printing, you really made it all work out. Take care

Awesome result, do you prefer using glaze medium or water to reduce the opacity of the paint in an airbrush?

  • @evolutionxstudios

thanks pal! Definitely glaze medium because I can keep the same consistancy of the paint that I'm used to.

@@evolutionxstudios I see, from the video tutorials I've seen adding too much water breaks down the paint molecules so adding some medium in it keeps it consistent but it may dry shiny, prefer flow improver mostly. I got some transparent prints to paint next and want to create a transparent paint in the airbrush to keep the base transparent. Some use special alcohol dies for resin but i wanna try with acrylics.

@@TheIcemanModdeler I also have those alcohol inks and would go with them, used that for my Mr. Freeze. But yeah why not try it with acrylics, go for it.

I want to try that wood filler for a helmet. What is the name of the one you use?

  • @evolutionxstudios

it's from a local hardware store, no brand. Just says "wood filler". If you watch my how to post process resin prints video you can clearly see what it looks like. But any wood filler should work as long as it has a smooth texture.
