For sure, i do that on more difficult colors to cover, this dark metallic had good easy coverage so i decided to just blend out to the fender right away 👍🏻😁

We make it look easy lol, but put a gun in somebody's hand who does n't know what there doing and what a mess they make . A good pal off mine tried to paint some primer on his scooter and got runs everywhere lol . He soon realised it not that easy . Keep the vids coming Andrey 👍

Haha I have the same thoughts every time i paint a car before applying clear, love the matte look. In fact stay tuned for a video coming soon, i loved the thought of having a matte paint job like the oem bmw and mercedes paint jobs that i decided to paint complete my daily driver 😬🙌🏻😁

Good afternoon Andrey, excellent results. That shine is magnificent. I have a couple of questions. What was the aerosol cleaner that you used prior to the sealer? I noticed that you started on the bottom of the door with the clear coat. I'm sure you have a very logical and clever reason for this procedure. The results are obvious. Thanks and take care. Thanks Steve, the aerosol was a Wax&grease remover, and I usually start at the farthest edge and work my way around the car. In this case if i started at the top of the door i would be near the hood before the bottom of the door would be cleared and then i would have to return back to the hood and continue to the other side, but from the bottom of the door i work my way up, across the hood and to the other fender always keeping my edge wet and going 👊🏻😁👍🏻

Always, But i paint it off the bumper in order to get paint on the bumper behind the hook 👍🏻

Tief schwarz means very very dark. Don’t you use transparent base coat for the right door and the left fender to avoid overspray ??

@@LncPainter it was just the translation from the German „ tief schwarz“ - let’s say - deep black 😃 I use transparent base coat on the parts I blend in but just light colors , like silver , white etc… to avoid these overspray and to get a perfect transition 👍👍😎

2nd clear coat 10 minute flash time, what does that mean?

After you apply first coat of clear, you let it flash off for about 10min before applying the second and final coat! 😁👍🏻

If your car is already dark you can just use basecoat, if its a lighter color its better to use a dark gray sealer and then a basecoat for better coverage.

Car is dark grey primer. As a first basecoat schould I use at first any black base or directly C9X base ? To unify the surfce. Cause I can't to buy sealer in EU. Thank you much.

@@petman9588 no need to use a black basecoat first! Your car already has proper undercoat, so just go straight with the c9x basecoat and clearcoat. 😁👍🏻

Do I have to take my car to the shop for them to "paint match" or can they just use the factory code and I only take the bumper separately to get painted? The car is 25 years old but in mint condition and original paint
