Painterly effects in gelli plate printing.
This video explains how to simply get painterly effects using a gelli plate for printing on tissue paper. In our mixed media and collage classes and workshops, we make papers to use in abstract collages. The net effect is "painting with paper". Using tissue paper for printing allows the paper to disappear when you glue them on to your substrate.

gel medium may be a little too thick, I prefer matte medium. good luck!

sorry for the late response. That color is actually a blick matte acrylic called dark blue deep. Its a lovely color!
