Amazing! You add a layer of gesso to store-bought canvases? Is that something we all should be doing!?

Yes I add 3-7 layers of gesso to store-bought canvases & sand them down until they're sooth! You don't have to, but I was told that it's more professional for galleries to have as little canvas texture showing as possible. Hope that helps :)
