I can't paint to save my life but I find watching you paint and listening to your calming voice is so relaxing and triggers my ASMR. It's a wonderful way to relax after a stressful day and fall asleep to.

Thank you... I've always wanted to see you paint on a panel. I tried myself before this video and I thought it was harder since the surface its a lot smoother than a canvas but now it's my favorite surface to paint on.

Great demo Kevin...I painted on the birch when I received your set of oils. I like The feel of the wood..it's quit different painting smaller and on the birch panel. Sooo very beautiful!!! Have seen you use an easel in many, if not most or all of your paintings where you have your brushes "cling" to the bottom of the area where your canvas sits. Do you have a magnetic strip at the top of that area to hold your brushes there? Am curious!!! Thanks for replying if you do. And, thanks for sharing an almost complete video of how you painted the "scene."

He used a soft bristle blender brush for blending the sky and also making reflections more realistic.

Ayman Haque: Not with OIL paints. Oil and water do NOT mix. You can use Turpentine with oils or linseed oil but never water.

Did anyone notice how the intro music in this video is slightly lower pitch than previous videos?
