Paint peel on Ducato, Boxer or Relay solution

Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

Straight forward solution for catastrophic paint peel on Friday Ducato, also applicable to Peugeot Boxer or Citroen Relay
My point is that it is an old vehicle and as looks as I keep rust away and keep it looking presentable, then I'm happy. if it doesn't consume to much effort and money, I'm even happier. It took me 2 1/2 hours and £13 for paint, oppose to £000 Yes, I could've taken the van to spray shop, but it would take more than 2 1/2 hours of my time and would cost me serious money

Apparently it is a common issue

Will be doing a similar thing to you in terms of roof. The issue is, how long will it be before the bodywork follows. Seems like the roof takes the worst of the sun but eventually the bodywork will follow.

@@arbit3r on mine I had to re spray A pillars by the windscreen and little covers under the headlights, luckily they are small areas easily done with spray can

@@mrfxr1695 Same here. I had the windscreen replaced recently. They used tape to hold the new screen on and when I removed it the paint came off with it. Looks like they all have this issue. Peugeot should really issue a recall. How can a 5 year old £30k van already be suffering from paintwork issues
