I made a similar paint booth in my garage to paint an airplane I built. I ripped down my 2x4's and used 2x2's to make my frame. The fame is not structural and only needs to be strong enough to support the visqueen and cardboard so the 2x2's are plenty strong enough. I cut my lumber budget by half.

IDK an 8x8 or larger, u need room and u don't want the plastic coming in if u have the gun to close to the plastic

How’s the smell in the house ❓❓ The last time I sprayed a bumper cap in the garage the smell inside my house lasted for days. 1 k base and 2 k clear. I wouldn’t want to do that again. I didn’t seal up the whole house so maybe it would help. Zip wall would be easier to put up and take down and store. N

Yea thats why I built it about 5' wider on each side of the car for maneuvering

25 years??? I thought I was bad. 15 years for my 81 Camaro!

So no concern about having the electric motor for the furnace fan in the vent out area? I keep hearing about explosions, but don’t know if it’s just something to be aware of, or not... Nice work.

Hey Mate, anything electrical, like lights, compressor or fan can spark if turning on while fumes are in the air, if ya leave everything on the spark from the turning on of even a light wont do anything. Thanks I did state in description but I am an Entertainer not an expert...

Cheaper to build the frame out of PVC pipe the cheaper filters work better also with better air flow.

Buy a carport kit. Visqueen the sides

LOL! You don't understand how a window/wall A/C works, do you. They don't take outside air and cool it, it simply recirculates and cools the inside air.

You are in violation of the Federal EPA 6H rule. All paint booths are to be of made a non explosive material with a non explosive fan. You must also use a HVLP paint gun. You are also violating Osha rules of health standards as well as local health codes. Your paint booth filters are to collect 98 percent of residue.
